I just picked up my large kitchen bench cushion and it turned out great. Great quality, I’m thrilled. Worth the wait, excellent team at calico… shoutout to Lynn and Kathy for all their help and Kendall and Jessica too. Very friendly and helpful sales/service team. Highly recommend.

I had paid over $500 for a custom-made cushion, and went back to have a couple small pillows made from the leftover fabric. First off, even though I had an appointment, I waited 45 minutes. Two small pillows were over $180 (doesn’t include fabric). You have to sign all kinds of forms and pay ahead which I did. A couple weeks later they called and said they made a mistake and it would be $1.70 more. I could not believe they had the audacity to ask for that AFTER I had paid so much for the items they made. I will never use Calico again. While I don’t mind paying for quality, I will not pay for poor service.Service: Home decor selection

I have to say, this is my GO TO store for reupholster projects!! I came prepared with items from our home to pick out fabric... the service was exemplary and welcoming to say the least. Cathy & Pam knew what to suggest after a brief conversation. I have had several cushions reupholstered in the past and gorgeous window fabric made of silk that was stunning over a picture window in our dining room.. i wholeheartedly suggest Calico Corners!!!

Calico recently provided me with excellent service! Even though the work is still in progress, I want to compliment Kathy and her outstanding expertise and professionalism as she guided me through the entire procedure: help with choosing the right fabrics to reupholster my sofas, a large sectional plus sofa-bed and love seat combination, and complete detailed explanations about the reupholstery work involved with these particular sofas. Furthermore, during a second meeting with her, she was of great help choosing the perfect decorative pillows to compliment the particular fabrics chosen for the sofas. From the very beginning, she recognized what I wanted and knew exactly what to select for me based on my photos and color preferences and patiently addressed all my questions about the work including entire cost. I ordered a custom made chair in January it arrived in mid September with a broken leg- the carrier advised that we not sit in it or accept it- and we did not. When I called Calico Corners the manager said we should have accepted it and went on to chide me for doing so. Never did she say they were sorry for the inconvenience nor did they take responsibility. I called the 800 number to complain and they said the local office would call me- but its been a week and no calls.

Two years ago I purchased over $4,000 in hunter douglas blinds for my home. Due to ordering errors by calico corners, they have never been done correctly. The store has had to re- order blinds several times. Not because the blinds were defective but the pulls were on the wrong side and/or one would be rolling in one direction while the other blind rolls in another direction. The store still has not fixed all of them! They promised to re-order it but now they are no longer returning my phone calls. I suggest they get out of the business of selling blinds.

On Monday, March 15, 2021, I decided to check out Calico Corners in the Fair Oaks Trader Joe's shopping center. It was my first time setting foot in the store. As I entered a woman from across the way yelled, "sign in and sanitize please." I gladly complied. Suddenly, I was the only one standing there in the store, there were no other customers. I walked once around the small shiwroom but the three unmasked women, apparently all employees, had already retreated to the rear of the store where they were engaging in, "casual conversation." I got the message loud and clear, and walked out of the store. Apparently my kind (AA) are not welcome at Calico Corners of Fair Oaks. Perhaps they assumed I couldn't afford their prices, so they didn't want to "waste their time." As Julia Roberts said in the movie, Pretty Woman, "big mistake; huge!"

fabric took 8 weeks to receive, then back ordered. Roman shades cut wrong and left a gap in window . Lengths were wrong- 6" too long. poor service as they try to justify reasons. They would make it right, but it was a tug of war . I'm a 25-year purchasing customer and this has been a nightmare experience. much more transpired and misinformation provided. they are more worried about their cost to correct than really providing 100% satisfaction as they say they guarantee-- far from it. I've never been so disappointed and pissed. now I'm out $1500 and without Any shades for another 4-5 weeks And can only hope they get it right. i would rather use allied upholstery , Sacramento, now as Lori has amazing fabric selections and does beautiful work. also many places on line that are priced competitively and do nice work .
