There were some places on my cherry cabinets, especially on the tops of drawer fronts, that needed to be refinished. Don had two men out on parts of 2 days. They were fast yet meticulous. After they finished and left, there was not a hint that anyone had worked there. A fantastic job at a reasonable price.

Call me dramatic, but I'm honestly still kind of irritated at the moment... Jeremy messed up my order TWICE and then tried to gaslight me into thinking that it was my fault. I don't like being gaslit, especially by a man.He also came off as lazy and recommended things that I didn't need and I was like why would I spend money on that if I don't need it, JEREMY?! Like, YOU did the measuring! Anyway, I've mostly gotten over my experience. I tired going to a few other floor guys and honestly, they're all useless. Long story short, YouTube how to do your floors and just do it yourself. In fact, don't even redo your floors.

American River Flooring is the best! Friendly yet professional. We had to replace floors because a pipe broke and the floor buckled before we even knew there was a problem. (After our plumbing was fixed) American River Flooring did tests to determine that the slab was completely dry prior to installation, so we wouldn't have any more problems. They even helped us move our furniture.Kudos to Don the owner and Juan the installer.We love our new floor!

How do you rate perfection? Based on a realtor recommendation and Yelp reviews, we hired this company to paint our house interior and install Cali luxury vinyl flooring. What an update! Everyone I had any contact with was a total professional: Collin Place (project manager), Don Shannon (owner), Chris, Matt,, Scott and crew (painters), and Josh (flooring). They were such nice people and total perfectionists. Thank you all.

Our floors were updated by American River Flooring. Martin helped us pick out flooring, even dropped of samples at our house. Josh is an excellent craftsman. His installation work on both the vinyl plank and the carpet was exceptional. Our floors are beautiful (Pale Oak Vinyl Plank and Hearth Beige carpet) and they updated the interior of our home.

I had a great experience working with the team at American River Flooring. We shopped around at several stores and the service at American River Flooring is what set them apart and got our business. Melanie was very helpful and knowledgeable. She was very patient while my wife and I asked a million questions and picked out our carpet. We then worked with Martin as our project manager. He was very friendly and kept me up-to-date on the progress of our order and made sure everything worked out. He even came by the house twice to make sure the installation was going well. Our installer, Josh, was a carpet installing beast. He has loads of experience and it shows in the quality and speed of his work.This was my first experience hiring carpet installers and I was very impressed.

Attention to detail makes all the difference, and that is what we got with American River Flooring and Painting. They installed hardwood flooring, carpet and tile in our home following a roof leak with major damage to the flooring; also did full interior/exterior painting. It was a big job and was attended to with professionalism and careful attention. The majority was completed on time; carpet was delayed by a week, and they notified us well in advance so we could plan around that. Project manager kept a close eye on things. Owner helped replace a very challenging threshold! They all were professional, personable and respectful in our home. They wore masks when inside, cleaned up every day so we could live here during all the work, and they did an amazing job. Highly recommend them.
