Crooks! We attempted to get gas after having to drive to eureka for doctors appointments we were told by the extremely rude clerk that our card was declined. When my husband returned to our car and told me what happened I checked our account found that he actually had charged our card. When we went back in he kept denying saying that it would show back up in a half hour which to us made no sense. Why did he tell us it was declined to begin with! It's now 24 hours later and the charge cleared our account and was not returned! Can't help but think we are not the only ones who have experienced this here!

In my mind, a gas station should be able to fulfill 2 very basic needs.1. To dispense gas and diesel2. To have a public restroomIf a gas station cannot supply either then is it a business worthy of supporting?

All I can say for anyone who chooses to use this store is if you pay cash then count your change!!! I couldn't believe what the owner just did...I paid with a large bill and didn't count my change until I got back to my work vehicle...when I realized it was very short and went back in the owner IMMEDIATELY STARTED SCREAMING AND YELLED NAMES AT ME I DONT CARE TO REPEAT....I'm Blown Away AT WHAT JUST HAPPEND, BECAUSE IVE BEEN A LONG TIME CUSTOMER THERE AND ALSO BEING A PLUMBING BUSINESS OWNER MYSELF im amazed that an owner of a business would talk to his customers like that especially after he made a mistake.. but lets just be real...sounds like it wasn't a mistake and he just got caught... so please Humboldt county residents COUNT YOUR CHANGE!!!because i guess unfortunately not all buisness owners are honest

I would have selected less than one star because the man who works there in the afternoon afternoon after 12 o'clock noon is a j**** He only speaks Punjabi he's a Pakistani in and I fear that the back room is an Al-Qaeda bomb factory. Anyway, the guy is argumentative and he always likes to start drama, Yelling etc. what a d*** f*** I'm never going back there again I live a block away and I will absolutely go to anywhere else than to go to that store because of the man who works there is such a piece of s**** Take my word for it thank you for listening and all of my love to those of you out there.

I went in today May 5, 2019 and got discriminated against for trying to purchase a lighter. Living in the bay view area I've been the this gas station a few times and never had a problem until The male employee looked me up and down after asking me for my ID, gave it back and told me I wasn't able to buy tobacco products. I did not argue the individual and asked for a matches maybe and he told me I could buy them anywhere else but there. He then looked me up and down insisting I had something in my pocket so I emptied my pockets so he wouldn't keep staring at me and then he proceed to tell me I should leave and he doesn't sell tobacco products to minors. I am 19!!! How frustrating to be put under the spotlight assuming I smoke cigarettes or tobacco products in the first place and making a costumer feel that they were in the wrong and giving out terrible service with such judgement in such a friendly neighborhoods. Low stars for a reason and the service isn't all that it seems.

I really don't see why this shop is still open. With the less then friendly owner (Unless you're female, young at that) or someone who visits him in his off time. He's really just a crab. Not to mention then the less then poor standards of his products. Some items look as if they're from the late 70s and others being spotted with mold... I cannot recommend this store for anything more then gas beer or canned food or the jerky....Steer clear of ANYTHING in the freezer or fridge sections minus the ice creams and or drinks. Any kind of food from butter to chicken should be avoided...the two pictures of the burger i bought just today of writing this review should be some form of proof....that's not showing the 10+ mold covered items ive bought in the past. Not to mention some other food that managed to give me food poisoning.. Be wary of this store and the products inside. And inform the health inspectors when you find bad food or else this poor excuse for an owner will continue to keep these kinds of standards up...

This is a great gas station -- they pump the gas, and wash the front window!
