Just very dirty... not kept up well... it's definitely not a good place for me. Just my thoughts. Maybe great for someone else. Looks very run down

Jacob is the best personal trainer. He is professional, knowledgeable and makes the workouts super enjoyable. I would recommend him to everyone I know if you want a good workout.

First off why does this gym charge so much for their membership when the equipment is falling apart? Second why is the opener always late? Not sure what the hype is about. I’m going back to planet fitness where it’s $10 the equipment is all brand new, it’s spacious, and people show up to their job on time.Update: ONE new piece of gym equipment does not really make a difference. When the machines are so rusty you can’t adjust them how are you supposed to work out??

I’ve lived in Humboldt for years and have seen some great changes at the Eureka Club. Miranda always takes care of me when I call or come in. It makes it feel like home.

Passing through and snagged a day pass, $25. The employees and trainers were really nice. 2 squat racks and a smith machine, lots of cables, dumbbells up to 120 and a plenty of benches. Plenty of cardio machines and whatnot as well. The changing room was really nice and had access to the pool.

I am super grateful for Eureka Healthsport. From the moment you walk in you are greated by friendly staff and they have so much knowledge to offer. I have a kid in swim lessons and he has made strides in the water. His instructor Jasmine has made him more confident and skillful in swimming. All of their personal trainers have been helpful and knowledgeable. I super appreciate the cleanliness in the locker room. Plus, all the classes that come with my membership are a bonus. I can't wait to try more of them. This gym has so much to offer!!!

It’s insane that the most populated town in Humboldt has such a tiny gym. Two squat racks ALWAYS in use(I know that’s not necessarily HS fault) but it kind of cause there’s ONLY two! The equipment is so old that the numbers are worn off of them and rust showing through the paint. The treadmills have got to be from 2008 lmao. The tvs hardly work. Not to mention that it closes at 5pm on the weekends, like really?? I’m paying $65 a month. I want to be able to get in there after I get off work on the weekends. All that being said the staff is super friendly and chill. I really do enjoy going in there and seeing the same nice familiar faces. If they remodeled(got those ridiculous zoomba or whatever rooms that never get used out of there) and added more/newer equipment I’d happily pay $65 a month but until then I will reluctantly continue to pay. Do better Healthsport. Rant over.

25$ for a day pass is a joke, especially when you realistically will only be in the facility for 1-2 hours.

The facility has everything I need, is clean and the staff is pleasant and friendly. I'm working to get back in shape and everyone has been great helping me work towards my goals. I want to give a shout out to Nate and Sam. Both were extremely helpful and dedicated working thru an issue I had. They were pleasant and kind and kept at it to resolve it to all's satisfaction. Thanks all!

Don’t choose this gym if you have sensory processing issues or post traumatic stress. They advertise to not drop the weights (loud noises) however when a patron continuously does, their staff (all on shift) will not address their own policy. I tolerated this gym for 2 months before giving up. Their women’s locker room has been under construction since I started there. Holes in the walls. Very old gym equipment; first generation iPhone chargers on devices. Their employee Nate has the IQ of a donut and continuously makes mistakes on the swimming schedule if you sign a child up for swim lessons.

I am switching gyms for a couple reasons. Firstly, it's not a welcoming space for women. I know the company can't fix men with staring problems but I feel it's worth warning to readers. I've seen it happen and have been at the expense of creeps in here. Not to mention some of these grown men don't know how to share equipment. It's embarrassing. Secondly, when I signed up it was mainly for the pool to do lap swim. I soon realized that would rarely happen as during peak hours the gym has recreational family swim or lessons. The place didn't strike me as a public pool but okay. And forget about them keeping a lane for swimmers during classes-I've been kicked out mid workout before even when the sheet said there would be a lane available for swimmers. Additionally, the schedules online and in person seem to be conflicting so if you think you've got a time figured out to go, you probably don't. As someone who was a lifeguard for 6 years and managed three pools-this place is a mess.
