The gentleman is so good at what he does. I had a pair of dansko boots that are expensive. The whole boot looked almost new but the heals were worn out and I was going to have to replace them! He put a new heal on and they are like new. I'm going to get another year or 2 out of these. And the cost for his work is very reasonable! So I took him a pair of heals after and I'm excited to get those back.

Mike now has a new customer for life. I needed some new sole and heels on a pair of cowboy boots and he did a beautiful job. I was astonished to see what they looked like when he brought them out. Mike knows his stuff and has true craftsmanship. Thank you Mike!!!!!

A true artist! This is what I love about Humboldt county, real artist still exist! I only send my best Italian leather boots here. Such a craftsman, attention to detail and makes good shoes last for decades. So grateful!

The owner was nice and knowledgeable. Happy to have a local cobbler to help keep my shoes alive. Basic retail, more of a workshop than store.

Had them replace the soles of my Tony Lama boots years ago, they did a fabulous job. I'll return with my next pair when the time comes and won't even mind the 2 hr drive to get there, because I know the job will be done right.

Repair rather than replace your shoes! Grundman's is a throwback to simpler times. Very happy with the leather he stitched on my hiking shoes. Reasonable price, they were ready a week before promised.
