“Best place in Humboldt County! The service is unequaled. The owner is one of a kind! Great gas prices, great customer service and well stocked with those last min”
“Family owned and operated, small grocery/convenience store located out where the city ends and the country begins. Where Old Arcata Road ends and Myrtle Avenue begins, the "back way" to Eureka or Arcata depending on which way you're headed. Many people depend on this little gem for anything and everything from every day necessities to last minute items. There's a small but decent array of goods available here from dairy to dish soap, but not many organics or soy/rice milk (which is the reason for 4 stars instead of 5), and a large selection of beer along the back wall. They sell tobacco and booze and ice and frozen foods too. The employees are polite and friendly, and the store is currently undergoing some construction so it is a bit more crowded and louder than usual. It also serves as a landmark and rondevu point for folks to meet up and head out to work or wherever. The building's exterior is nostalgic of 1950's style signage and architecture. It is only open until 8pm, so remember to get there early, before it closes!”
“You definitely pay for the convenience. But it is just that. Convenient. Good deli. Good selection. Check expiration dates, though. Could use a mural on the outside?”
“This is a great place to shop first, especially if you want something in bulk. The prices are kind of all over the place, with some things being extra cheap and some things not being any cheaper than you can get them at Safeway etc. They often have specials which can be very good, and they do have an ad circular.”
“I have been going to Bonomini's real close to 50 years when Mr. Bonomini had it and I believe he would be proud of the ways it's being ran. Even though his thing was the meat counter and butcher block his goal was to please the owner now and his employs are so awesome, friendly, back in the 80si owned a home close to there so I was in there alot I say best market in Humboldt County they have everything well almost everything”
“I've been to quite a few Grocery Outlet's throughout CA and this one just seemed a little lacking. Maybe it was the space or the dim lighting, but it seemed like it had seen better days. Though they did have good prices and a good variety of products, just the layout was a little unorganized.”
“Wandered in while in Eureka and found lots of great options inside. They have a large hot food bar and a large cold foods bar. Store is clean and fully stocked. Plan to go back the next time I'm in town.”
“Fantastic snack stop. If you're looking for some quick snacks to go, or a quick spice or two, this is the place. This isn't a big grocery store, but it's definitely a good quick stop market for bare essentials. The family that runs it is very professional, and runs the store much like a fast food restaurant (get in, get what you need, get out) so there's usually no line.”
6:30AM - 11PM
3500 F St, Eureka“This place was pricey, but had a lot to choose from at a convenient location. If you just don't have the time to drive to WinCo, this market has just about everything”
“If ur Mexican here in arcata this is the most Mexican place you will find ! The lady's are so sweet :) & I think right now it's cash only, but they have all the Mexican bread & those amazing Mexican candys & chiles for anything you need to make ! Come here guys it's amazing. If you need help they will help you the service is amazing !”
“This grocery store is in our neighborhood but we don't do out big shopping here. Better prices at WinCo. But we are.goad to have a convenient grocery store in case we forgot something or need a quick trip. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice deli for lunch and breakfast.”
8AM - 10PM
3103 K St, Eureka“This is the best neighborhood store hands down. Friendly staff, customers are also very nice and respectful. It's exciting for my toddler to come here to pick a treat out. They have an excellent energy drink selection, they have Humboldt Bay coffee, cheapest cigs in town.. I don't drink alcohol, but their selection is massiveness!I will miss this store when we move back to the east coast next month.Keep up the phenomenal job for our community guys. We love you!”
“Always good vibes, never has the clerk treated me as if i were up to no good for no good reason like just about every other mom and pop liquor shop in eureka when in all actuality they should because Eureka is shady as heck and pretty much everybody in this town is up to no good”
“The most helpful and friendly employees of any gas station I've been to in Humboldt County. They've pumped my gas displaying a great attitude during the 2+ years I've lived here. As a disabled senior being able to call them from inside my car is important. Then the employee comes out to get payment and returns with my receipt and pumps my gas. Even though I pass many other stations to drive to Redwood Market, they will always be my first choice now.”
“I just moved to this neighborhood and don't have a car so thank goodness this market is here for emergencies and cravings. I was surprised to find lots of things I like - and I'm not much of a snacker. They have better quality foods than most mini-marts I've been to and it's well organized and clean. They people there have always been very pleasant. The food is not old. Better brands of ice cream and beer, et cetera. Not sure of the prices because I get what I need no matter the price.”
7AM - 9PM
1634 F St, Eureka“I live about 2 blocks from this little market and I come here all the time! I love this little corner store because it has everything you need! I mean not everything but it has a good variety of things and the workers are very respectful and keep a good eye on their store! This place would be 100 percent better if Open 24/7 because sometimes I'm up at night wishing I can come here and buy a bottle lol! Hope this plays stays open and wish good luck to owners!”
5AM - 1AM
2555 Harris St, Eureka“This store is full of employees who give exceptional customer service. When Andi works in the morning I skip the self checkout. She is always cheerful and actually cares about the people who shop at Safeway. A situation that could have been deeply embarrassing for me was handled by her without drawing attention.”
Open 24 hours
636 W Harris St, Eureka“First time in, loved it. Great selection and cost was very good. This is because they only accept debit cards or cash. No credit cards to keep costs down. It works. Great prices. It was very busy though. Long lines. Great produce. Will definitely be back!!”
“I love the atmosphere of this place. It's a great little Hispanic market with lots of food products directly from Hispanic culture. Many products imported from. Places throughout Mexico and South America. A lot of things I noticed were from Oaxaca. Many of the products too are in very simple packaging, proving to me that it's truly a locally produced product. I was really hoping they had homemade chicharrones con carne. But unfortunately they don't make any in the store. But they do have some sweetbreads.”
“I love the Eureka location it seems bigger than the Arcata store (which is nice too!) They always have lovely seasonal displays right up front near the sushi bar. Since they've remodeled the wine is near the fresh produce similarly to Arcata. Got a great whole bagged Rocky's chicken for a good price around the holidays, too.”
5:00 AM - 1:00 AM
2555 Harris St, Eureka“This is a great little store with absolutely everything we needed. Prices were reasonable, and everything was easy to find. "Most" of the staff are kind and smiling, and those who weren't will probably be gone before your visit, so don't worry about it.”
“I use the pharmacy department regularly. Their friendliness and service is well recognized. They are willing to provide extra curtesy and information to make my experience go well. Quick attention to details.”
8AM - 10PM
2525 4th St, Eureka“They need to check the dates on produce more accurately. But it's convenient. They run out of common produce too often. Onions and potatoes for example.Update: I wish I could say it's gotten better, but it's only so so still with the groceries.”
“Very clean and looks very nice just park upfront close to door the bums live in the bush’s but the Walmart is nice . And don’t wait for the mall to open drive to the back and you will find the entrance it’s different”
“Knowledgeable staff always steer me in the right direction. Nice diversity of rices, soy sauces & our favorite soup base for buckwheat noodles. Any sushi ingredient or supplies you can think of. We buy a box of an instant udon/soba noodles we like that’s great to dress up w vegs. They insist on carrying it out to the car for me. Great shopping experience. I look forward to my visits to Little Japan.”
