We are pleased with our new floor, albeit the project isn't completely done yet due to pieces on backorder, however, I'd recommend shopping around before settling on this company. Initially, we were excited to work with them and to see our new floor installed. The process, though, was made confusing between what we were told by the salesperson, the estimator, and the installer. None of their spiels seem to line up. And they certainly didn't line up with what the written contract spelled out. Our job ended up costing close to $7,000 and both my wife and I don't feel that amount for the service that was provided equates. We were told by the estimator to remove the existing transitions and they would replace them. Now, we find out they can't do what they told me they were going to do. We asked for the estimator to come back out before the project ever started and the salesperson refused, saying that she could field our questions which she couldn't and didn't. It just added confusion to hear a different version of what we were initially told. The flooring was not cut evenly. The installer said he didn't have the proper tools to do that, but it would look great after we hid their imperfections behind toe kicks and spacers which we are supposed to take care of ourselves. Also, even though they are a floor company, they stop short of addressing issues related to finishing the floor at the door. They don't do doors which is also strange because the estimator said to remove all the transitions and thresholds, they would run the floor, and then finish it off with new. Installer said no, so my wife went running to the hardware stores to find a shorter threshold that would work, but they don't provide the finishing work either. Installer suggested running the new floor just up to the old, ugly looking threshold as an easy solution, completely opposite of what the estimator told me to do for the needed prep work before installation. When my wife wanted to ask a question about the floor or the install, the installer became either frustrated on the verge of argumentative or simply didn't know. I admire someone who is willing to admit that they don't know everything but, when your job is to be an expert at flooring, it would be nice for homeowners to hear more than just "I don't know." Now, the company says the transitions (which are on backorder) will not fit where we need/want them. Isn't that strange? Wouldn't you think that is the estimator's job to figure out and purchase only what is needed and going to be able to be used?! Definitely not a friendly, customer-centered experience, and not a full-service outfit.

Fantastic job! Eureka Floor refinished our hardwood floors and did a wonderful job. Our floors looked amazing and Eureka Floor was even able to repair one stair that was damaged and bring it back to pristine condition. They used high quality finish from Bona which I really appreciated, and the work went as smoothly as a newly finished oak floor. :) They finished on time and even refunded us when the actual work cost less than the estimate--when does that ever happen? I could not recommend them more highly.

I've had flooring done by Eureka Floor Carpet One twice, and been very happy with the results. The estimate was thorough, installation was quick and professional, and the installers communicated with us well. The end product looks great. I personally like that customers can wander around the showroom unharassed, but people who want lots of attention might be mildly bothered that the employees mostly leave you to look unless you ask for help. Works for me, though!

Nobody was around when we entered. We walked around the maze like building calling for someone. After we finished the maze we found a person, who sent us back into the maze with turn left then right go out the door...we did get our transition though. And I have to admit getting to see I'm sure what was all their products was kinds fun.

My husband and I came into Eureka Floor Carpet One this morning to buy some Vinyl tile for our kitchen. The showroom is extensive and quite nice with many different products actually laid into the floor, so it is easy to see a variety of applications. A salesperson came to help us and quickly answered some questions. The problem was that when she was ringing us up, she also was on the phone with another customer and she sounded very condescending and impatient. After she hung up, she made a very unkind comment about the person she had been talking with. As a new customer who does not know a whole lot about flooring, I became very uncomfortable with that sort of snobbishness. I thought that perhaps she would also make unkind comments about anyone who did not know as much as she did. That is why we go to a flooring store after all, to ask questions and get advice. She defended her unkindness by elaborating on how annoying the person she had been talking to was, but I just do not think that is a very professional way to treat a customer and I will never go back!

Bad counter sales experience. Install went well but dealing with the bill was a bad experience. Wouldn't go back.
