The owner's son removed the old carpet and installed new carpet in 3 bedrooms. After rolling up the old carpet in one bedroom, he left a big mark on the freshly painted wall when the rolled up end rubbed up against the wall that I didn't notice at first. A neighbor came over after the old carpet was removed and asked for some of it for her goats. It was enough that I should have received a reduction in the dump fees. He left a number of small holes at the base of the wall while installing the new carpet in the master bedroom. In the master bedroom he did a sloppy job at the door entering the bathroom. It overlaps the floor plate and I notice it each time I leave the bathroom. I would not recommend to family or friends.

We got brand new carper 5 or so years ago on our rental. Now we see sides that are pulled up from the wall, seams splitting and unraveled carpet in corners. I know 5 years is a long time, but this is ridiculous. We will not get carpet from this company anymore. This kind of stuff is all over the house. They have lost a good customer.

Staff is knowledgeable, friendly, not pushy, and very well informed. They also gave me advice on how to select options that could save me some money but were identical quality. Finally they let me check out samples to bring home.

If I could give Carpet Depot more than five stars I would. They’re a local company that stands behind their products!A year ago I had our handyman put in a new kitchen floor using vinyl plank flooring I purchased at Carpet Depot. The floor looked beautiful, but within a matter of months the planks started separating from each other. It wasn’t long before they began to buckle and rise off the floor. When they first separated our handyman said nothing like this had ever happened to a floor he put in. He slid the pieces back together. Later he suggested we get ahold of Carpet Depot; perhaps the flooring was faulty. We got a second opinion from yet another handyman who also thought it might be a bad batch of flooring.I finally went back into Carpet Depot armed with pictures of the bad floor and ready to raise heck. I was met by Janeen, a true professional in her field. She said she’d talk the situation over with the owner, all the while saying the subfloor was most likely the problem. I let her know repeatedly, I’m quite sure, that myself and several handymen felt it was Carpet Depot’s product. (Spoiler alert: nothing was wrong with the vinyl plank product!) Long story slightly shorter, despite their reservations, Carpet Depot replaced every bit of the flooring at zero cost to me! Truly an honest, reliable, professional local gem of a company. I can’t say enough good things about Carpet Depot.I wish I could say the same for the handyman who installed the floor. After sliding the planks back together that one time, he essentially disappeared, leaving me to pay for the cost of installing an entirely new floor. Again Carpet Depot helped me out here. Thanks to Janeen, I hired flooring contractor extraordinaire Joe Sample, who ended up shoring up the entire subfloor with new plywood. So in the end Janeen was right, yet Carpet Depot still stood behind their product, even allowing me to choose a different color vinyl plank after holding on to my free replacement product for months. (With every local contractor so incredibly busy, I had to wait months before finally getting Joe to replace my floor. He was worth the wait!)So a huge thank you to Carpet Depot. I’d recommend this South Eureka company to anyone looking to upgrade any type of flooring!!!~~~ The photo shows my new, beautiful floor.

I had a previous owners bid by "JR" in hand and was ready to purchase. The front desk woman on the phone was abrupt and kept insisting this was Carpet Depot I had called. I said yes and the sales person was "JR". She refused to send anyone out to measure with samples until I walked in the door. I do not drive. I was ready to buy. They lost a sale of three rooms. This place doesn't have enough competition so they pick and choose their customers based on who doesn't need much service at all. Heaven help a person who needs someone to come out and measure and bring samples because they are disabled. This place stinks.

We waited a whole month for someone to come replace the flooring. On the scheduled day they sent a worker who refused to wear and mask and is unvaccinated. Carpet Depot is not respecting public safety.
