“We purchased a Hearthstone Manchester woodstove after many visits to the shop and talks with Joanne. She is very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. She is quite a character, too, and we appreciated her stories, sense of humor, and no-nonsense approach to helping us make our decision as to which stove when it was necessary. I don't understand the problem others have had with her, but each to their own. Yes, she is disorganized; many people are. So what?! She still got the job done. Joanne's got a lot on her plate, and if you take the time to talk to her you'd realize what an amazing individual she is. We've got a lot on our plate as well right now as we're in our 70's and building a house, so we get it. We like characters, which is why we do business locally and get to know the people. This is our 2nd Hearthstone stove and for over 40 years we have not heated our homes with anything other than a woodburning stove and the occasional small electric backup in a bedroom or bathroom when necessary in the wee hours. We're not newbies, but we did have a lot of questions about the newer stoves. We whole-heartedly recommend Eureka Stove & Fireside Shop, and Joanne, the woman who is its heart and soul.”
