This old lady that works there called me fat and told me these exact word "Do not lean in this chair because you are going to break it and I was with some friends that were skinnier than me so if they were leaning in the chair I bet she would not have said anything " and I was answering her and she said I was ignoring her and I am a minor and she is a grown man I mean woman, Also she told us to be quiet and we weren't Evan talking she's just looking for way to kick us out

I used to hang out in this library as a teen! I moved away but I'm back almost 15 years later, it's both nostalgic and improved. Clean, organized, with very polite staff who have been helpful every time I've reached out to them. When I ask questions they come off as happy to help. They also have great summer programs, and I love the inclusive themes they put up (right now they're acknowledging disability awareness with a big beautiful banner, last month there was a fantastic rainbow right at the entrance)The missing star? No noise control! Maybe it's meant to be more relaxed, but I thought the rule of libraries was keeping a respectful low volume. Every time I visit for a quiet place to focus on work, there are little kids shouting and playing Fortnight. The staff don't ask them to please keep it down so I have to try tuning out yelling, swearing, music, and a torrent of "your mom" jokes. It would be funnier if it didn't happen every time I come in!

Esparto Regional Library is a Yolo County Library branch. Clean, quiet library; well-organized with good selection of book and materials. Right across the parking lot is a small green oval park with a playground (swings, slides, mostly ages 6-12), grassy area, benches, and circular paved foot-path. Plus sturdy outdoor restroom - key for kids!

The librarians are all very helpful and kind to the youngsters and all. They offer many free programs for all ages including storytime for tots, language and learning services, a plave for teens suring the summer, and much more! You can even check out bike locks while you are there and borrow laptops and hotspots if needed.
