I was essentially forced to buy a screen protector, and lied to. He had already deactivated the phone in my pocket, and activated the phone I had not yet paid for. I had signed paperwork for device payment plan. Then he (claiming to be assistant manager) tells me he can't sell me the phone without a $65 screen protector and asks if I'd like to process a return instead. Told me they usually also force customers to buy charging adapters and cases. Screen protector had not been mentioned up until this late point in the process. Literally would not let me leave with only the device in hand after some 15 minutes of discussion and requesting to speak with upper management. My guess is I would have been hit with device activation fees in the next bill even if I did return it, so I let him fleece me. Going to a company store next time for sure. Don't trust the logo above the store, this is victra, not Verizon, and they are running a con in all their stores.
Edit: Reached out over email and they have not replied back. Will be taking this up with consumer protections and Verizon Corporate.
Update: Victra's support was useless. I reported them as an authorized retailer instead and Verizon refunded me $65 as a credit. I had forgotten to mention in my review that this Victra location also had let me access my account without proper verification.
Seems like there are plenty of similar reviews since then, so they're still not compliant. Probably they are all scam artists at heart, or Victra and the authorized retailer infrastructure incentivises this sort of sociopathic behavior.

This store ripped me off, I switched to Verizon and went to this store and was helped out by a bibiana. I was told my iPhone would be free with a trade-in but that was a lie, I am stuck paying monthly payments for a phone that I was told was going to be free. She convinced me to buy a bunch of supplies without telling me any of the prices. She convinced me to trade in my watch and said my new Apple Watch would be free and I’d just be paying for the cellular and that was a lie. I was charged 2 $30 set up and go charges for my watch and home internet and she didn’t even set them up! I set them up myself when I got home! I tried contacting Verizon and they told me that it wasn’t a Verizon store but was an authorized dealer but the store sign didn’t say that! I tried contacting Victra to get a refund on those services but was never able to find a way to contact them. I went in expecting to pay between $100-$150 for taxes and activation charges but ended up paying $359.91 on a credit card and wasn’t even shown the receipt until AFTER she charged my card. I was scammed, lied to, and now my phone and internet bills are over $200 a month. I should’ve stayed with T-mobile. I regret switching to Verizon and now I’m stuck in a contract paying for devices and services that I did not authorize.

COMPLETE SCAM. I WILL BE SUING. worst experience ever. asked them to help me with a simple data transfer with my new replacement device, (because VERIZON GAVE ME A MALFUNCTIONING PHONE), and they tried to charge me $50 to “assist” with a mistake they made.
you would think they would help you fix up a new phone you get because it was there fault in the first place.

Don't go to this "Verizon" store unless you like getting ripped off, duped, and swindled. THIS IS NOT A VERIZON STORE! This is an authorized retailer that makes money off of selling you overpriced accessories.
I fell victim to the same lady that has been ripping everyone off. She told me I was paying off my phone when I swiped my card, which was not the case. She sold me on home internet, that she said I would not have to pay for 30 days as a trial, which was not the case. She told me all the accessories I was getting for buying a new phone came as a bundle, which was not the case.
My $94.99 monthly bill shot up to $203.97 after my interaction with this rep. After calling Verizon Customer Service, they told me that the rep never applied the trade in credit I was supposed to get, I was getting a 1.5 month prorated charge for the home internet, set up fees, service charges, and an extra $17 a month for insurance that she added onto my account without my consent.
I swiped my card for $352.07 after being told I was paying off the difference of my phone; turns out that $352.07 went towards "set up fees, taxes, and accessories" and I am stuck paying off a phone for 36 months beacuse this rep conned me into a contract even though she told me I was paying off the difference in my new phone.
Luckily, Verizon has fixed her mistakes on my monthly bill but at the end of the day, this store and this rep stole $352.07 from me and I am bound to a 36 month contract for this phone. STAY AWAY!

Walked in to add a line to my plan. Asked a rep if he could help. Response was he didn't have his credentials. Proceeded to wait 10 minutes no one else came to greet or help. Customer service was awful

I went to this Verizon store in January and bought a phone from Bibiana. She told me the monthly fee would be $55. I paid all the fees and taxes. My first bill was $155, and my 2nd bill is $85. I went back to ask her why and she was super rude, and claimed she never said that, and if Verizon adds more fees that is not her fault. Be very careful if you do business with her. She is fast and loose with the numbers and will not help with the fallout in any way. I will never do business with Verizon again.
