When I went to drop some parcels with prepaid shipping labels on Aug 14, 2024 around 7:30 am, I found the door locked. This is 4th time in 2 months, I found the front door locked at same time. It is very frustrating every time I encounter this situation at this USPS location. I wish I could give 0 star.

07/03/24 Horrible customer service. If I could give this USPS Escondido location no stars I would. After a long day of work I return home about to change and settle in for the evening when my family informs me my packages never came. In the mailbox was a card that said "customer request hold at post office", which I did NOT authorize. I then have to get redressed and fly to the post office before they closed to retrieve my packages which the first associate, a heavy set African American man by the name of "Ed", after hushing me and telling me he didn't want to hear my complaint could not find then passed me off to the next associate, an Asian American man, who spent 15 minutes and finally found them then proceeds to tell me it's my fault because of a "broken mailbox" which my THREE packages were TOO big to fit in the box anyway. ALL my previous mail had ALWAYS been delivered before with NO issues. This was the FIRST time my packages were held at the post office WITHOUT my consent. The driver was too lazy to do his job and BOTH of the associates at the post office were rude in which the second associate not only was arguing with me but made accusations of me having "special privilege" so he wouldn't have to take responsibility for THEIR incompetence. This place is just horrible.

Bad experience went for passport walk in twice and i was told to keep trying i had to make appointment on line for the next month because no day's available it supposed to be fast with rush my passport not fast at all no appointments available so i have to wait

Arrived during the walk-in time period for passport applications for our children. They proceeded to tell us that you have to come in by 1:00 to make an appointment for a walk-in between 2:00 & 3:00. That is not a walk-in; that is an appointment. They were unsympathetic and would not make an exception even though their website says nothing about their process.

Horrible customer service. I had a package I requested to be picked up at their post office, I had to go three times to be able to claim my package that I paid for. The first time my boyfriend went in for me and this asian lady with bangs told him they didn’t have it, the second time I went in and THE SAME THING while giving nasty attitude towards me. 3rd time I had to talk to the supervisor which was very sweet, He went into the back to get my package and within 5 minutes he brought it to me. These ladies made it seem like they go in the back and stand there acting like they looking when they really aren’t. I was nice and patient but didn’t receive the same back. Do better and get better workers I can’t stand people like this lol. Retire already.

Been at this post office several times and all experiences have been great. The clerks have been helpful and visits were all quick in and out. (Waited a few times but less than 10mins) all of my visits were in the morning both weekdays and weekends and no complaints. Will continue to come here.

So far this location has been very good, I got extra help mailing an APO package. There is a discrepancy on the customs forms online (and known issues with APO box ? types on the labels) vs. the boxes available in-store for shipping. Anyway, I don’t mind if someone has an attitude as long as they give me the correct info…

Incredibly unprofessional employee at this location. I went in for a passport application. The employee inspected my documents then stated they only take 4 walk-ins. Why couldn’t he have said so from the very beginning before inspecting my personal documents? Further, he told me “you will get a lot farther being honey than vinegar” even though I hadn’t even said anything other than standard interactions and questions to help aid my future visit. He also told me that (since I am 17-year-old applying alone with a parental acknowledgement note) it’s “up to the person processing the application if they will need a notarized statement” and that if they’re “in a bad mood” they wouldn’t do it. He has a bad case of power-trip. This man is mixing his personal emotions with something that should have been professional and simple— I already had all of my documents and pictures prepared, not to mention proper form of payment since their internet is currently down. Their website doesn’t specify you need to show up an hour early for the walk-in; of course, it makes sense so that you can apply during the open hour but it fails to mention there is a limit. I understand they’re understaffed but this does not excuse his behavior and words to me. Highly disappointed.

I came to this post office for the passport fair on 03/02/2024. Everything was very organized which made it a pleasant experience. The post master was very attentive and made sure every customer was taken care of. I would definitely recommend this post office.

I missed a delivery as I was at work. I was able to reschedule the delivery on the "We missed you" slip. I selected redelivery- customer pickup for Saturday, as the slip listed Saturday's hours for 0900-1200. I showed up to collect my item only to find out that the post office is closed on Saturdays.. my question is, why allow a scheduled pickup on a day the post is closed?! Ugh.

Avoid going here at all costs. I have personally shipped hundreds of packages out of here and it has been a miserable experience. I ship the same exact product in the same exact packaging every single time yet at least once a week I get a package returned to me weeks later saying I owe more for postage sometimes even returning it over a few cents... Dozens of orders have arrived damaged, arrived WEEKS later than promised, lost orders, you name it. Just go to any other facility I can’t imagine it can be much worse.

So I came in today as a walk in for a passport and I got my name on the list the lady said to come back at 2:45.So I left came back at 2:20pm and the older African American guy had an attitude like if I was late. And refused to give me the documents I was asking of him even though his co worker was saying they do have it and tried to help but the African American guy refused to give me the paperwork. Horrible customer service and terrible attitude.
