I've been meaning to write a review for Denise in the Plumbing Department at Home Depot for a while, but better late than never. To provide some context, when we recently moved to North County, we needed an adaptor to connect our portable washing machine to the sink in our new place. Unfortunately, we had trouble finding the right adapter, even after searching on other platforms like Amazon and eBay, leading to multiple wrong-size purchases and returns. Our sink required a unique adapter, and we were unsure where to find it. That's when we decided to seek assistance at Home Depot to resolve our predicament. When we arrived, we asked several people for help and were redirected a couple of times before someone experienced in the plumbing department was called. This is when we met Denise.Denise immediately understood our situation and got to work. She was kind, patient, and extremely knowledgeable. After assessing our needs, she identified the appropriate adapter size to connect our portable washer. Given our previous unsuccessful attempts to find the correct adapter, my partner and I agreed that this was the most practical solution.Denise efficiently assisted us and provided detailed explanations of everything we needed to know. Home Depot is fortunate to have an employee like Denise, and we are grateful for her help. I highly recommend this location for any home improvement needs, especially for plumbing-related concerns.

Came back from a trip last night, I asked the person to cut blinds, they said I prob don't need them cut... and I went home and they were too long. However the guy in this department this morning seems to be a little more helpful, he measured and showed me the measurements before and after. Thanks Edgar

This is a smaller Home Depot ... much smaller than the one on the other end of Valley Blvd. There's a nice Garden Center, and service here is very good. It is convenient to other shopping we do in this neighborhood.

This location has some glaring problems, first of all the checkout is all the way to the right at the front of the store while the returns are on the opposite side. It should just be in the middle. Additionally the isles are in desperate need of a help button or a computer you can search on like Target has, as I had to get in the return line just to get some assistance for an item that was incorrectly listed as a certain isle on their website. Staff members were less than happy to help and I saw multiple staff members having loud, casual conversions with customers who were clearly their friends when meanwhile I needed help finding something. Additionally the prices are very high compared to Amazon or even AutoZone which is in the same center. There is no Apple/Google Pay here and it's one of the only stores in existence at this point that doesn't have it, get it together Home Depot!

I will leave negative 10 stars if Yelp is allowed. Whole store staffs have poorest communication skills and are causing unnecessary frustrations for customers like us. You place an order for a delivery from this location, but you will get 3 different deliveries from other stores, yet no one from the store will inform this to the customers. This is one of the examples from many others.

3 hispanic female cashiers were rude, and passive-aggressive during check-out. Even the two not involved or aware of the transaction who seemed to just join in with the first female because she seemed annoyed or frustrated with her work or having to be there or something.Ironically I witnessed those same two females walk over and be overly kind and helpful to hispanic customers however who were also at the self-checkout area.It was an uncomfortable and unwelcoming experience, especially as a military veteran watching the vast difference in treatment between this cashiers acting polite and overly respectful specifically toward specifically hispanic customers. The "head cashier" had written on her vest under name as "Tatty", this was 6/17/23 at approximately 9:30am on a Saturday.I cannot confirm if the treatment if non-hispanic customers is typically this way, however, my experience here was negative to the point where I felt a responsibility to share this experience with the company and here with the community.Perhaps they were having a bad day. Either way, there is no excuse for providing unequal / disrespectful behavior toward customers of any ethnicity.Hopefully this review prompts the company to review the treatment of all customers. Lets hope it was just a bad day, maybe a late night last night for her, and that is not how they typically treat non-hispanics. We can hope.

I got what I came for. The employees were helpful even nicely telling me I'd skipped the line of one.

The Home Depot delivered a dryer. Upon delivering the dryer they also hit the porch with the deliver truck. Damaged the porch, the foundation to the porch, and just kept driving, didn't stop to see what happened nor did they say anything. Good thing the security cameras saw this and was on Video. After speaking with the Store MGR, emailing him the videos and pictures of the porch, a claim was filed. That's as far as it's went. Two weeks and no plan, no remorse, blaming the delivery company, no insurance fix, absolutely nothing . Home Depot doesn't take care of things they break and just drag their feet without any explanation of what they're going to do. Anyone can take the approach Home Depot is taking, that's easy. Accepting responsibility and fixing an issue, nope, Home Depot stays away from that. Disappointing

I went in on the hope to find an easy kit to fix my chair. The wood had separated from a screw and I thought some wood glue could do the job, boy was I wrong! No it was a much bigger job. I would have never got it done without the help of at least 3 members of your team, I wish I could say I noted their names but I didn't. They helped me cut the wood 2 different times and then help me find the right screws. 2 trips but it's fixed! They went above and beyond to make sure I was helped to fix my chair! For this am grateful and want others to know! I will update with names for sure because they deserve recognition!

Scammed (video attached) - I ordered an Outdoor Patio Lantern on-line. When I had not received it for some time, I looked at my account, and it stated it was delivered. When I checked my Nest camera - what you will see is a delivery truck drive on my grass at 11:30 at night, taking out 4 boxes that seem to be heaters, just not mine, after some time trying to find mine came to the realization that mine wasn't there. Threw the 4 boxes (yes, threw) back in the truck, and proceeded to leave. I assume he checked off that my heater was delivered. The frustrating thing is I had to call customer service twice, and both agents insinuated I was lying. The agent said they were no longer able to deliver the heater to my address and that if I wanted one would need to go to the store to buy one. Here is a link to the delivery person and the lack of delivery. Shame on Home Depot. video.nest.com/clip/444f…

Now that the labor shortage issue has worked itself out I have to say it's a great store with excellent customer service. Everyone is helpful and friendly. We got a beautiful Christmas tree that would have been double at Balsam Tree. My son and I attended the kids workshop, and it was SO much fun. The ladies hosting were wonderful to him. Looking forward to attending the one next month.

I bought a fixer-upper of a house so naturally I am a frequent customer to Home Depot I would give them all the stars but I typically have problems with the register because they never take my payment for the reward points but other than that I love going to Home Depot they have everything I ever need Ryobi is a great brand however I would love to get points for the thousands upon thousands of dollars that I have spent at their store it has never once worked for me

After seven weeks of nightmare back-and-forth, on the telephone for hours, back-and-forth to the store, at least five or six times, and various other disappointments, we finally canceled our entire flooring order. I would not recommend flooring (and install) to anyone.Honestly, zero stars would be my rating but it's not available.Unfortunately, or fortunately (whatever), the people seem to be very nice, but mistake prone, and the whole process is terrible.Lowes for me from now on.
