What great customer service with Lupe Diaz!! She helped me with my order of rocks from start to finish, with understanding and complete professionalism! She was friendly and took time with me on the phone to answer my questions. It was a pleasure to talk with her.

Customer service was not the best felt like I wasn’t really being helped and when I went outside to get my material loaded they took 2 hours just to get loaded and as a contractor that is an unacceptable time never coming back here again I do don’t recommend at all please go else where many other contractors pulling up to get materials and also waiting just as long as me if not longer , wait times are horrible and they work very very slow not worth coming back take your business elsewhere , having a big factor with a scoop they are loading with bags and doesn’t make sense

I have been doing business with KRC rock for many years as a homeowner. We’ve spent thousands of dollars there over the years but the last several times I went have had poor customer service experience. I searched for another company and am so happy I found Southwest Boulder and Stone. my experience with them was great, from the person I ordered our DG from, 10 minutes before they closed, to the delivery person. Very helpful and friendly all the way around. I will definitely be taking our business there from now on!

Very prejudice and rude Employees/Employer. They had me Quit my Job then fired me the same day I started. Not following the correct protocol at all. It sucks because I really liked the place. Until I realized how fake and heartless their management and their employees are.

I’ve been using this place for years, but unfortunately it keeps going down hill. I wanted to get ton pricing on river rocks but Lupe says they have changed their policy due to liability since the last time I was out. Left with out doing business. Too bad it was Saturday morning with lots of employees and no customers. I was the only one there. Won’t waste my time making the trip from Carlsbad to Escondido anymore. Lots of places closer!!!!!

Excellent customer service and delivery. Lupe helped me pick the perfect stones to replace old stones that are not available anymore. The office was friendly, attentive, and efficient. The stones were delivered by Randy at the exact time promised and he was extremely helpful in placing them conveniently. I had gone to another stone supply store in San Marcos first, but the customer service was terrible. Southwest Boulder & Stone is now my go-to store for all stone projects.

Disappointed in Sales/Customer Service and product quality. We were given an estimate for a small amount of crushed rock. When came time to purchase it ended up being higher due to the additional costs of 2 super sacks which we were never told about. Upon delivery we only got 1 super sack and Southwest Boulder kept the other, even though we were charged for 2. The rock quality is not the best. We are now having to sift it and ended up with almost three 5 gallon buckets of sand so far.for a small amount of rock. I would suggest when you ask for an estimate, please include all costs involved. We did appreciate the samples to take home to compare. Although we won't purchase again from here.

Got some pebble for between stepping stones. Price was competitive. Lots of options. And everyone was super nice! Even had coloring pages and snacks for the kiddos while I looked around.

Friendly and helpful service for DIY and processional landscapers alike. This is a good place if you're looking for basic rocks and flagstone for home projects. Most of their common landscaping stones are prebaged or can be custom bagged if you require a unique stone size or color. They also do much larger sizes of bulk rock if you require that. - If you want to avoid the morning rush, come after 10 am. - Many flagstone options. - May not have the best selection of boulders. - Check their website for holiday deals. They had 10% off during Memorial Day weekend.

Not happy about extra delivery charge. It's not the additional cost as that's minor on a $8,500 purchase , it's the principle of it. I also did not get my $50 of product but they can keep it and pay the $33 delivery up charge and $17 they can keeps it as they seem to need it more than I do.
