I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Showcase Molding recently, and I can confidently say I will never do business with them again. From the moment I interacted on the phone with the cashier, SJ, I was met with condescension and a complete lack of customer service.
After providing my order number, SJ dismissively cut me off, implying I didn’t understand the difference between their order number and a third-party one. When I told him that the product I'm returning is sealed and never used, he then had the audacity to say, “Yeah, we have people like you who say the box is sealed and blah blah blah, but we don’t believe any of that.” How’s that for a warm welcome?
Upon arriving at the store to return an item in perfect condition—never used and still sealed—I was greeted with nothing more than a curt acknowledgment of our previous phone conversation. No hello, no courtesy, just a cold exchange. To top it all off, I was slapped with a ridiculous 35% restocking fee on a $200 return, despite having spent over $1300 with them.
When I inquired if there was any possibility of lowering that fee, SJ arrogantly replied, “I’m doing you a favor; I don’t have to do this.” What kind of customer service is that?
Save yourself the headache and avoid this place at all costs. There are plenty of other retailers who value their customers and provide the service they deserve.

Showcase Moulding saved my bacon! I had some home layout changes and we were just shy of a mystery chair molding that basically no box stores or other lumber yards carried. The staff at Showcase molding knew exactly what molding we needed, had it in stock, and cut to lengths that fit in my car. 10/10 service and pricing.

Discovered this place a few years back, and their products are really amazing. Wide variety of moldings, baseboards, trim, and so forth. Just recently purchased some new baseboards for a DIY project I got going on at home. Was in and out with no interruption.

Great place to buy mouldings, they display all the mouldings on the wall, easy to pick out what you like, and way better price than Home Depot. The staff was nice and helpful as well.

I highly recommend showcase mounding. I live in El Cajon and called about 10 different moulding places in San Diego. Showcase was significantly better priced even with the bigger delivery fee because we live far from Escondido. Craig had great customer service and was able to deliver the baseboard promptly.

I've been doing home improvements and was referred to Showcase Mouldings in Escondido. Although I'm chipping away at it. Craig at Showcase have always gone far and beyond what I'd expect given to someone who's buying bits and pieces a hundred feet at a time. Craig has always, at my request, checked my math and made useful recommendations making the project easier to understand and improve the end result. I'm not finished with these door casings and baseboards yet. However, I'll continue to use Showcase Mouldings for my superior trim needs.
