Always neat and clean but OMG their gas prices are the highest in Escondido by far. For those prices I'd expect to be in an old-fashioned full serve station of yesteryear. Nothing there justifies the prices they charge.

I normally wouldn't get gas any where else other than Costco, but since my relative insisted to buy me some gas here, I can see their prices were much higher, even higher than some of their own locations near the freeway exit of Rancho Parkway, as they located deeper inside the path going to Valley View Casino, they were the only one and maybe the first gas station you would hit on your way back besides the gas station owned by the casino. They were 30 cents more for each tier compared to their Shell locations by the freeway exit. So maybe it would be wise to wait when you get there to save a little bit of money for your wallet since gas is not cheap anymore, really, $30 to buy gas at this pump, your gas didn't even last for another day because your meter didn't go up very much

This shell is a rip-off. I pay more for Shell gas because it gives my car better gas mileage. So because this Shell is close to my house and I was desperate for gas I thought I would try them, even though they are WAY more expensive than the other stations. 18mpg?! Seriously? They either do not have Shell gas in those pumps or they're putting filler because I have NEVER had that mileage with a Honda Fit. After burning off more than half a tank it went up to 23mpg but still, the lowest I ever get is 26mpg. They need to be reported to Shell.

Yikes! This gas station charges over 50 cents more per gallon than any other gas station in Escondido. Even if you're running on fumes, I'd recommend going the extra few blocks to a cheaper gas station of equivalent quality. With these prices, they're losing dollars to earn pennies.
