Reidy Creek Golf Course in Escondido, CA, offers a variety of outdoor activities in a natural setting. The 18-hole executive course is known for being challenging, especially as a par 3 course, making it suitable for families and beginner golfers. Players can enjoy playing 18 holes in less than three hours, leaving time for a meal or drink at the Creekside Tavern. The course is set in a scenic valley, providing a fun and exciting experience. In addition to golf, the course features a new disc golf course and a footgolf course, both popular with visitors. The disc golf course is well-liked, with friendly staff, and offers discs for sale in the pro shop. It costs around $18 per player to play, and booking a tee time is recommended since players share the course with traditional golfers. The footgolf course adds to the variety of activities available. While the course has many positives, some reviews mention issues such as greens being punched with sand, rough areas around the greens being lumpy, and tee boxes in poor condition. Restrooms are not available on the course, and some tee boxes are closed or damaged. Despite these concerns, visitors often find the staff friendly and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere and group clinics or lessons offered to improve their game. Reidy Creek is a good spot for a quick, fun day outdoors with options for golf, disc golf, and footgolf.
This is a lovely place to play disc golf. Some of the rough has very spikey bramble - next time I'll play it a little safer. Hope to return soon!
