I've reviewed another lab in the past and it was negative. Many years ago. I think it's only fair that when I have a better experience I should leave a positive review. I went to Quest today. Had an appointment and check in was really easy. Just scan your QR code and sit down. Despite a waiting room full of people, they called me in less than 5 minutes. Brooklyn was my nurse and she was extremely professional. She asked about which arm to draw from and when I told her my veins are hard to find sometimes, she opted to use a smaller needle. She was informative each step of the way and made the experience pleasant. I'll be going back frequently due to some recent issues and I look forward to receiving professional care from Brooklyn and the team at Quest. If at all possible, book an appointment in advance and you should be in and out quickly.

This was the single worst experience i've had at a lab in my life. This was at 488 East Valley Pkwy in Escondido. First off, you can't get anyone on the phone. Just an endless list of depts. I was not even given a hello when i got there. I had to do both blood work and a urine test. I asked if i could do the urine test first. The girl immediately got an attitude and actually sighed. She said the bathroom was "right there" I used the bathroom then found the toilet didn't flush, there was no soap, water or garbage can. i came out asking why and another rude girl said "you used the drug screening bathroom, the sink's right there" I told the girl taking my blood that she didn't tell me it was the drug screening bathroom. She kept saying "yes i did. The other bathroom is down the hall." She practically stabbed me with the needle. She never said one word. I said to her that i was never going back there. Do not go here. The people and the experience are horrific.

Had an appointment at 7:30 was seen right away and was done within 5-10 min. They were very nice and professional,I don't understand all the negative review's.

0 stars this place is atrocious the attitude displayed by health care professionals also taking a lunch during the 3 hour window for lab testing is ridiculous literally waiting for 2 hours holding my pee for them to see 20 patients with an appointment after I had already arrived before them. I can't say one good thing about this place we will see if Im very worried with my employer offering this as a medical facility under the companies insurance. The reality is if you don't have an appointment and you have never been here you will be treated like poo

Since Quest Diagnostics began offering appointments for my blood tests, my experience there is much improved. The communication via text is excellent and allows me to check in on my phone when I arrive for my appointment. I am usually taken back within a couple minutes of my arrival. Today I had the most wonderful phlebotomist named Lizbeth. My orders were from two different doctors and were a little complicated, but Lizbeth was very organized and understanding of the special orders. I felt no pain at all when she inserted the needle and withdrew the seven little tubes of blood. Lizbeth was kind, professional, and efficient. She is definitely a valuable asset to Quest Diagnostics.

NEVER show up early if you have an appointment. They will prevent you being on the standby list and will dedicate 1 person to that list. So people who show up much much later than you get to go first. Over 5 who came in after me. They are rude and will not take you off the appointment list so you can get a shot of doing it early. They got down to 1 person doing the draws and still only served standby. Refused to take me off appointment to standby. And still managed to find room for another standby 2 min prior to my appointment. So I got care even later than I had planned. I was ok waiting for as long as I did so long as there was a chance of getting it done early. They are some of the angriest people. Just go anywhere else. Also habitually understaffed, meaning they are not employing enough staff.

Seriously this place needs to be shutdown it is a hazard to the community. On average, they would see 4 to 6 people an hour with appointments. In five hours of waiting as a walk in/standby, I was only the second person that they seen. Please listen when I say if you don't have a reservation do not bother waiting unless you don't mind waiting for more than 4 hours. I was here on the same day that Diana was 9/29/2023 and being there, with the special-needs, was very stressful for the other patients, including myself not to mention scary. There was absolutely no one attending the front desk. They really don't care about you as a human being There's no information as to how long you need to wait if you're a walk in person which they call standby but I can promise you it will be 3 to 4 hours minimum unless they close and they never see you. This place was packed with both patients that had an appointment and patience that just walked in. I waited at this place for 1 hour before I thought I'd have better luck at their Encinitas office. It was slightly better ended up waiting there almost 5 hours. Please!!!! SAVE YOURSELF and make an appointment to come back. If you have no appointments, you're waiting 3 to 5 hours easy.

I don't recommend quest diagnostics because the staff they take a long time to call your name I had to bring five people with disabilities and because they were making a lot of noise we had to step outside and just wait so the stuff from quest diagnostics they don't check if the client are waiting outside. There were couple of people that left because they have been waiting for more then four hours and worse because they have to be fasting. Don't come to this place I don't recommend it unless if you want to wait the whole day

If I could give this place ZERO. I would. Please avoid this place if you have any concern for your health. My mom had an appointment and they made her wait over 3 hours for being 4 mins late. She's a diabetic, couldn't have anything to eat since they were fasting labs. and was almost faint. Then when she got to the back the phlebotomist was digging around and my mom ended up with nerve pain afterward. I now see why this location have so many appointments available. Avoid at all cost and just go to labcorp instead.

I booked online for a same-day appointment. I was 6 minutes late when I checked in. They called me back right away. No wait. Process was efficient and quick!They know how bad their reviews are, and they are serously determined to fix their online reputation.

Very unprofessional during the blood draw left large bruise on site for a simple blood draw. Nurse seem irritated she had to do her job.

All the ladies there were horrible lazy and rude there was a blonde girl didn’t know her name didn’t care to know was very rude and seemed like she hated doing her job . Constantly laughing and giggling while people needed questions answered and when someone tried to get attention was approached with attitude or anger.

Got my blood drawn out here by lizbeth ,she was super kind .Felt really nervous since I haven't had blood drawn from me since middle school She kept a conversation going to help ease me I appreciated that . Super cool experience.

I would give zero star to this location if possible. They pricked needle so badly to my pregnant wife that her hand was left sore for entire day. The needle was inside for long time then nurse requested another nurse for help. Extremely patheic. Avoid this place.
