I drove 35 mins for them to take nothing. I brought 5 bags of cloths were lots of them still had tags and were higher brands barely used. When I got the bags you could tell they weren't even looked through. Seems like there too lazy to look through the cloths people are bringing in. They said to me they wouldn't take it because of wear, but all the cloths looked brand new so I'm just confused. Every time I go in here the staff just seems to be a bunch of young little girls who don't want to do anything. Do not recommended coming here to sell yours cloths. I will just be taking it to good will where people will appreciate the nice cloths.

I went to Plato's with an entire bin packed with clothes and I waited an hour and a half for them to take zero pieces. It was a 30 minute drive from my house so it wasn't worth going back and forth so because of that I stayed during the hour and half just browsing their selection. The place was extremely disorganized, overcrowded, and messy. I found multiple pairs of jeans that had stains in the inside. Many tank tops with deodorant stains all over. And t-shirts with huge orange foundation stains all over the collar. I wanted to try on a couple shorts and I waited by the dressings rooms and no one came to help me. So I asked the front where the girl just ignored me and looked to her other co-worker. The entire time I was there i revived no help or costumer service. And the girl who did my clothes was extremely rude to me. The pieces I had in my bin were wild and fable (Target), Banana Republic, Levi, and some other randoms. They ended up saying the reason why they didn't take my clothes was because it was "12 months out of style" and that it "needed to be re-laundered" which upset me because I had washed and steamed all the pieces before coming in because the place I went before said there couldn't be any wrinkles. The entire duration of my shopping a recording comes over the intercom to say how it's important to recycle your clothes so they don't end up in the landfill and to help the environment. I was extremely disappointed that they turned away many pieces of clothes that were warn only once or twice that could've gone to a low income family in need who can't afford name brand or store bought clothes.

I recently purchased a pair of lululemon leggings and when I got home and tried them on, there was a HUGE tear all across the knee- I've purchased other leggings from here that were damaged at seams but nothing as bad and as obvious as this I called and explained how they still have their original tag, as well as the credit card I purchased it with but wasn't able to find the receipt in the bag they gave me!I was hoping I could still return them or even get store credit, as they were the ones who bought put damaged merchandise out on the floor for purchase I definitely wish I had tried them on there but didn't have time so thought I would just do it at home. They said there's nothing they can do without a receipt, not even store credit if I bring back their damaged goods they sold! Honestly just super bummed they sold very damaged and unfixable merchandise- and bummed they weren't willing to help out in fixing the mistake!

I have been a customer at this store location in the past and it was good, BUT my most recent experience has been trash. I brought in my items to be sold and was told “you’re second in line and will take about 20-30 minutes”. Okay, that sounds about right. I looked around the store and usually by the time I am done browsing, so is the buyer who looks through my things. 30 minutes passed by and my stuff was untouched. Okay. A total of 45 minutes now passed by and again, none of my stuff was accessed. I approached the counter and asked for an update and the young girl working with no eye contact replies, “yeah I am going to work on it right now.” I walked around the plaza. Now, I am waiting in my car and I noticed other sellers who came in AFTER me were bringing out their laundry baskets and trash bags of clothes. And I confirmed this because I asked one of the sellers if their stuff was looked at it and she replied yes. I am obviously upset at this point. I went in the store again, at this time, It’s been over 1.5 hours since I dropped off my stuff and the buyer was actually and physically accessing my items this time. We did the exchange and after the transaction, I requested to speak to the person in charge-it was the buyer and her name tag said “Team Lead”. I respectfully suggested not to quote people a “30 minute wait time” if they are going to take hours, the team lead/buyer instantly got offended, again no eye contact, speaking over me, and very dismissive about my concern and started making excuses about “short staffed, it got busy, you could come back before 9pm to pick up your stuff or in 24 hours, etc.” My simple suggestion they should be real and tell people it will take 2-3 hours so they don’t wait around “30 minutes” and waste their time, MY time.I will not be doing my business here again. The place has changed like everyone said. I read the reviews after my recent experience and they are unfortunately all true.Beware to those who are still trying to sell here and them quoting you “20-30 minutes”. Don’t hold your breath.

This specific location really needs leadership support. There were only 3, 16/17 yr olds behind the counter which were not trained or mature enough to handle a Saturday night environment. I waited in line for 27 minutes to check out, but there were only 6 people in front of me the whole time. 27 minutes. Let that sink in. There was no understanding of priorities or efficiency and at one point one of the male employees let one of his friends cut in line to check out her clothes which almost made everybody start a riot. The floor was completely trashed with clothes and was very disgusting. Just wish they had an adult to help them manage the place with more respect for their individual business and for their customers.

Really nice employees. The person in front of me had TONS of bags of clothes and I only had an armful. They were nice enough to take my pile first so that I didn’t have to wait an hour. Thank you!

i took 2 trash bags full of nike, adidas, under armor, victoria secret, pink, and american eagle clothes and hats that i never wear anymore and they pulled a pair of sweat pants and a hoodie and gave me $20. said the other clothes were “older and not with todays fashion” whatever the heck that means. it was mostly workout clothes and a bunch of nice, name brand t-shirts. some of them even still had the tag on them. long story short, if u don’t want any money for your clothes, this is the perfect place.

As others have mentioned, this store basically does not participate in the buying aspect of Plato's Closet anymore. Brought in two bags of clothing and one bag of shoes, not all of which I was expecting to be able to sell, but plenty of items that are definitely within the range of items we've sold previously. We roamed around the store for 1.5 hours looking for a dress to purchase, and when we tried to go to the cashier to have an item put on hold with our buy, she outright tried to move away from the register (being the only person there) to not interact with us. Our sell also hadn't even begun at this point, and about 5 minutes later the same girl had "gone through" our items without pointing out any direct reasons why none of the items were not being purchased. The original owners have since sold this location and the new management obviously does not care about the storefront the way they did.

Don't bother with bringing your clothes here anymore. I've dropped off clothes in the past and have had much better luck but recently they're not accepting anything like the other reviewers said. If you're not accepting clothes just say it and don't waste people's time. Probably won't be back ever again, unfortunately.

Brought in two bags of clothing, most of it was brand new or barley used and all brand name clothes. Was told they would finish checking the clothes in 2 hours. 4 hours go by and they still haven't checked. Half an hour later I have two items of clothing I want to purchase. They finally finish "looking" at all my clothes. Then offered me 3 dollars for a Ralph Lauren Polo shirt long sleeve and wanted nothing else. I felt insulted. I just took everything back and left. Came home and opened the bag to see all my clothes folded the way I folded them and packed into my bag. They didn't even look at my clothes, offered me 3 dollars after waiting over 4 damn hours. That is the last time I will ever come to this location. Either do your job or quit and find a different one. Bunch of lazy entitled brats.

This place plays the absolute worst music. I had a hard time not thinking about it while I tried to shop. The mens selection is middle class, suburban, football practice white highschooler. But really the music in the store was bad.All In by Lifehouse, Rescue by Lauren Daigle, Hypotheticals by Lake Street Dive, and Classic by MKTO are some examples of songs played. These weren't the worst, but just some I took note of. Here are the lyrics to the chorus of the last song mentioned."I wanna thrill ya like MichaelI wanna kiss you like PrinceLet's get it on like Marvin Gaye, like Hathaway"The most thrilling thing about Michael Jackson were the actions that lead to his ultimate demise. This isn't something I want to be thinking about while I thrift.

Had a bad experience yesterday this shirt didn't have a Plato's price tag, I went up to Alice a worker she seemed bothered and rolled her eyes, i basically I interrupted her I felt like. She gave me an overpriced tag, clearly you see the tj max price. I went back asked her she said rudely "yep that's our price" after I asked if it's still $20 after being $16.99. I've gone to this location multiple times to sell clothes not only they give you like $2 to $5 max per item but this store is so overpriced they don't sell much last time I checked they weren't taking anymore clothes clearly because they have so much they don't sell. Please so better with your store and staff

This place really caters to high school kids clothing trends. I took a lot of new items, some with tags still from Express and brand new converse wedge shoes, leather jacket, Columbia jacket with tags and they didn't want any of it which is fine. But as I looked around, I didn't find anything that wasn't cheap, from 2000s or that I would actually wear. Lots of HS and 19 year-olds shopping in there so now I know this place isn't my style obviously Lol. Staff was really friendly though. Definitely a great place for kids to shop.
