415 N Escondido Blvd, EscondidoThe service in the grooming center is extremely well handled and all the staff help each other at the front desk in the grooming salon when it gets busy…therefore, clients don’t have to wait for long times to drop off or pick up their pet.
The groomer I use is SHAY and I take my dog monthly and my cats as needed every couple months!!! She is consistent and my pets love her. She doesn’t skip anything they may need like getting all the undercoat out of my dogs hair and her other things she needs are always cared for so very well!!! Every staff member is super helpful and, like I say, the job my groomer Shay does is excellent!!!

1000 W Valley Pkwy, EscondidoIt's alright. Usually I go here for my cats' food and litter. Today I noticed they finally got more mini shopping carts! Took you long enough. Also, it seemed like there are more people working here and at the registers which is good. So good job, Petco.
The only thing irritating now is the parents that allow their kids to "talk" at decibels of 100. Teach your kids better.

It took a bit of time to get an appointment (they’re popular!) but it was so worth the wait! He’s been going weekly for a month to get acupuncture and tho he’s older we can definitely notice he’s more ambulatory (sometimes we comment the puppy is back) and we have stopped needing or using meds which could have adverse impacts on his organs. We are now moving to every 2 weeks and then once a month. We are believers. And so thankful for their knowledge, expertise and willingness to help. Thank you. xo

I have been coming here with my cats for a couple years now and I wouldn’t go anywhere else! Leann and the staff there are nothing short of amazing! I know when I drop my cats off there they are being dropped off with people who actually care about them! Now to the quality of work! I have gotten multiple complements on Blues lion cut, even my Vet asked for their info because of how well he was cut! Really can’t say enough good things about them! He had severe and acute cardiac issue and we believe VSH offered him accurate prognosis, best possible treatment, and attentive care. Dr. Borgman, Dr. Coberg, Alexis and all other amazing technicians demonstrated great expertise, understanding, and unwavering empathy to both us two humans and our cat. Alex and all other front desk crew provided us with all the information and help we could use.
We are absolutely devastated with the outcome, but we do not regret a single bit taking our cat here. Sometimes I cannot help but think modern science is overrated (cynical, I know) and there are still so much more we need to figure out.
Nevertheless, I believe people here try their best to save lives, and that is a sacred and most respected cause.

I really really like him. He’s done surgery to remove a lump on my older lab and did a fantastic job. He spayed another of my dogs. I’ve never had any problems! He’s super knowledgeable and never seems to want to upcharge you like other vets like to do.

He doesn't have a great relationship with the vets because his first experience was going to the shelter after coming from an intense hoarder abuse situation as a puppers. Next round was getting neutered which was at the worst vet I've ever been to. He's been healthy until this ear infection (which his breed is prone to). I searched and searched and found a new vet to try. Hands down LOVE THEM! Today was a great experience. I felt confident and safe with Joe in their care. We have a forever vet now and I couldn't be happier! Everyone from the office staff to the admin to the tech to the vet! Even the others in the waiting room. We go back in 2 weeks for a follow up. I'm actually not nervous about. Thank you for all you do!

855 Valley Pkwy, EscondidoI am a little late on posting this but I wanted to say thank you to parkway Clinic. I have been taking my cat here since she was a kitten. She is now 3 and a helion to deal with! Unfortunately I have to choose to sedate her to get stuff done because shes a nightmare! The vets and staff were so calm with the situation and were able to get everything done I needed for her to get caught up on vaccinations and other stuff. My cat got a little nauseated from sedation and I was concerned leaving but they gave her nausea injections that just didnt kick in, in time. The next day Janika (front desk) called me when they were off that day to ask if my cat was okay. Was very sweet! Thank you for all your help. Zoey is back to herself happy and playful(only around me). haha

There is a great group of folks who work there, always willing to tell me a story about my silly dog.

From the moment we turned up the driveway, Win2 (the doggie) was SO excited! He happily jumped out of the car, Janean greeted us, he ran around and was integrated into her home and with the other dogs. The pictures we received were priceless and it was more than apparent that Win2 was being well cared for and happy. This will be our go to now for care and I cannot recommend Janean and Horses and Hounds enough!

Peticularly Perfect
500 La Terraza Blvd #150, EscondidoLiz has been fantastic. She is a wonderful trainer who identified our boy’s issues perfectly. Our rescue dog is a mix of challenging giant breeds and had some significant issues to work through. She had a perfect understanding of why he exhibits behaviors and gave us concise training plans to help modify his behavior. We have been using her training plans and they have really helped. She also helped with training for our 3 dogs to plan for my major spinal surgery, so they are calm around new medical equipment and my recovery sleeping area. I just got home from the hospital and all 3 dogs have been very well behaved around me.

Unfortunately he didn’t have all the “tells” of being interested in herding but we learned a bunch about herding. Met great people. Our dog was just more interested in playing with other dogs or the people to car about livestock ? would definitely recommend taking your herding dog at least once! The trainer was patient and very knowledgeable.

I'm still try to figure it how they cAn put out better food with the small kitchen/but they have compared to full blown restaurants. The cobbish salad I had was dynamite ? and they actually give you enough dressing to cover your salad. What a concept ??. The pesto flatbread was aloe quite delish. Soft bread...tasty toppings. Service super attentive. Brought the pup some water. Different types of furniture and styles to sit on and a nice fire pit. One table was a little wobbly and I would be scared to sit at it. That might be time to go! Plenty of beer to choose from. Nice to see so many people come and chill there. Prices are fairly decent and portions are good.

Fun fact they are the only brewery in San Diego that makes a beer with a carolina reaper in it! Spicy or hot it’s amazing delicious. They won a silver award for this beer and when you try it you will know why!
Other beers that I recommend are the czech lager and hazy ipa ? cheers!

Domaine Artefact Vineyard & Winery
15406 Highland Valley Rd, EscondidoI am a bit disappointed with recent winery messaging/policy. These changes seem to make the winery setting more exclusive and less welcoming to families. I have NEVER been dissatisfied with the wine. Just a little disappointed in the pull away from families and inclusion.
New review: I am the biggest fan of this winery. I have recommended this winery to literally all of my friends and family. I have never enjoyed a winery more than Domaine. I love most Domaine wines, which is very telling for a self-proclaimed wine snob. At most wineries I Iike two or three wines. At Domaine there is no wine I do not like. I especially like their Rincon del Diablo and Syrah. In addition to their scrumptious wine, the staff here have never waivered in their kindness and accomodations.
The missing star and slightly critical review is hopefully part of larger growing pains. My kids used to come here and feel so welcomed. They could stretch their legs and roam a bit (supervised). We could search for tadpoles or ask staff for the owl puppet or drive the tonka trucks through the olive orchard. It was a pretty special place for our teacher friend group to relax and have their kids enjoy outside at the same time. Seeing the new signage up discouraging supervised child autonomy is beyond disappointing. I enjoyed this winery as it always felt like family. It felt like home. It was uncomplicated and comfortable. Their dogs roam free and my kids, behaving with respect, were also permitted to do the same. Closing out areas to kids is beyond regrettable and makes me less inclined to continue membership (even given my 10 plus years of membership and their delicious wine). Unfortunately I am going to consider if it's worth it to be a member of a place that is seemingly inhospitable to half of my family. I wonder if they will make a separate section for families / dogs or if they will continue to slide towards exclusionary spaces.

We had a group of 12, 6 distinct orders. They kept coming out from behind the counter to offer free refills on drinks even though it’s not that type of place with a wait staff. The chips and guacamole were also amazing. The 4 types of salsa were readily available o. The tables and very fresh. Super airy, clean dining area. Prices are very reasonable as well.

While that wasn't the original plan, we just couldn't help ourselves - Dawn does such an amazing job breeding beautiful, personable, affectionate, intelligent Bengals, and we couldn't imagine our life without them. Each one has their own unique personality, but all display the same loving, sweet, and playful tendencies. We feel incredibly fortunate to have found a breeder of Dawn's caliber, and look forward to continuing our relationship with her for many years.
