I have been coming here for over 10 years. The doctors I have seen were great. Unfortunately, the quality of care has diminished, bordering on abandonment. The problems started before they were "hacked". The unprofessional behaviour, the lack of communication and failure to follow though has been astounding. I have spent almost a year trying to get a referral. After face to face meetings with my doctor his promises are not realized. Meanwhile countless phone calls and messages go unanswered. I filed a grievance but I will have to wait another month for a response. Stay clear of any office in the Graybill/Palomar network - they just don't care!

The level of service since the hack is criminal and a class action lawsuit is coming I’m sure. My elderly parents are of Dr. Hubbard who is a good man who is on a sinking ship. People, mainly the elderly are suffering because of the this organizations incompetence, arrogance and bad attitudes. I won’t go into the countless stories I have of trying to get prescriptions, appointments or just a call back but suffice to say that they must be held accountable. Shame on them all.

I am very disappointed with the service at El Norte Medical Group. Yesterday, I called seeking help for my mom, trying to schedule a post-hospital visit and clarify details about her daily medications. I was informed that their system was down (it sounds like this is typical for El Norte Medical Group), and they couldn’t assist at that moment. However, I was assured that Dr. Barbie would call back later that day. It has now been over 24 hours, and we have yet to receive any call.
This level of service is unacceptable, especially considering the importance of timely medical care. Even a fast-food restaurant like Chick-fil-A offers better customer service. Medical treatment should be a priority, and this experience has left us feeling neglected and frustrated.

I'd give zero if I could, their portal is completely useless, doctors are not receiving emails and patients are left without communication with their doctors. After Graybill bought Palomar Health on Grand avenue things could not get worse, since they moved the practice to second avenue it has. Their system is a complete mess. The bigger they become the worse they become

Going in for surgery on Friday to get my wisdom teeth extracted. All dental offices technology got hacked it’s all over the news. Because of the hack they can’t write prescriptions for pain medication. They wrote a referral to my primary ( el Norte medical group) to prescribe pain meds which they denied!! So now I have surgery on Friday with no pain relief for recovery.

The quality of care has diminished here. Communication with this office is terrible. If you call, or return a call, you have to wait days for a response. They have a patient portal but they do not respond to messages there either. If they do get back to you it is usually a confused assistant trying to explain things to you. It is unfortunate, because there have been some good doctors there that watched out for you.

Worst front desk and service around. They fail to schedule appointments properly. You'll schedule an appointment, get a confirmation, and then it's mysteriously not on their books when you arrive the day of. The medical assistants they have call you with the doctor's orders/results never know what they're talking about. If you have a question, they just re-read the script they were giving from the doctor and don't try to answer your question or follow up at all. Truly abysmal service.

I have always gone to Shay Robinson and I have always found her to be incredibly kind to me. But however, she has turned for the worse. I've had a weight problem my entire life and I've now lost 40 pounds in the last year, but upon coming in today for different reasons, Shay went on a ten minute rant about Ozempic and how I should be put on it. I tried to explain, no I don't want it because I can obviously lose weight on my own, she kept bragging about being skinny. Like, obviously I know what was wrong with my weight before and I'm still working, you shouldn't be forcing drugs onto people who have no problem losing weight on their own. Personally it feels wrong to use new medicine on someone without anyone knowing the lifelong consequences of it, and especially when I very much do not have diabetes, it's wrong and I absolutely hate how she ranted about it, pretending to be a weight loss doctor. Losing 40 pounds has been an immense accomplishment for me, as it would be for anyone, and it's not like I'm stopping now. I'm very obviously continuing this journey, and I thought if anything, a doctor whom I trust would understand that. I'm truly disappointed in her and her seemingly superiority complex. It is not okay to recommend these actions to someone who is adamant on losing weight on their own time. It is a form a bullying, trying to tear someone's own accomplishments down just for the sake of being skinny. I have been working incredibly hard for over a year now, and I just find it screwed to recommend a lifelong altering substance to take to someone who isn't even qualified to take it. Great going "doctor."

The front desk staff in the waiting area has to be the most unprofessional staff that I have ever come across at a doctor's office. I was treated with such disrespect that I will be looking for a new doctor immediately. I have been a patient of Dr. Tarzy for the last 36 years, so I was willing to put up with the blatant unprofessional abuse from the receptionists at the from desk, but now that he is retired, I will not go back. They do not even deserve one star and I would never recommend this office to anyone. My entire family will be switching from this location!

John Scrivano was very thorough and addressed my concerns. He listened and help me get on my way to checking off all the things I need to take care of. His Assistant Ruth is also the best. The office is older and needs a little bit of updating but not a reason to not go there. I will be returning to establish with one of the physicians.

I like my doctor, and the location is convenient. But why is it that in 2023 I can't an appointment online? Why do I have to wait 10 - 20 minutes each time on the phone? This is my biggest pain point and the reason I am looking to go somewhere where my time is valued.

Money-grubbing office!! Used to go to Shea Robinson for probably 20 years until our insurance changed to Kaiser and had to choose a new PCP. Now we're back with Aetna and natually I wanted to go back to someone who knew me and whom I knew. That is, until I tried to make an appointment and was told that since I wasn't feeling well, I needed to do a telehealth appointment (not even with Shea)... not sure how that was going to diagnose what I had since they can't listen to my heart/chest/ etc but okay. But first they tell me I need to fill out their 15-page health questionnaire online! (which I did). The time comes for my appointment and they now tell me it's going to cost $100 for my tele-appointment co-payment! WHAT?!?! No thanks... I'll sweat this one out, thank you!! Made a call to our insurance company to inquire about this $100 co-payment and he tells me that all office visits are zero charge, just like it states on my ID card! Fast forward to today, (two months later) where I have an actual office appointment. Nasty receptionist (wish I caught her name), tells me that I have a deductible and they need to collect $100 co-payment. Here we go again.... I tell her that this is just an office visit and PER MY CARD, there's NO CHARGE. She insists there is and I politely tell her that I will be looking for a new doctor... her response... okay!! I called my insurance company again just to be 100% sure that I shouldn't have been charged and he confirmed it again. Such a waste of time!!! Clearly this office doesn't need or want new (or previous) patients so I would highly recommend looking elsewhere!
