Sam, the owner is, well, to put it nicely, a complete asshole! The location does have good prices but dealing with him is not worth any price!! Stay away.I just bought a new home and had plenty of plans to buy materials from this vendor. However, every contractor I had communicated with said that the owner, Sam, of North County County Supply is very unprofessional, difficult to work with and many have had verbal and even physical altercations with him.I'm a nice guy and easy going, but after personally experiencing the Wrath of Sam, it validated what everyone had said about him. I now have a General Contractor working on a big job on my house for me and he has stated that he will NEVER EVER buy anything from Sam at North County Supply!!

I went to the NCS yard and was able to pick out the materials I wanted. They were delivered on time and the driver couldn't have been nicer.

North County Supply has been a great asset to our ADU project. They are friendly and responsive and their turn around time for delivery is quick. We will definitely be keeping them in our speed dial for future needs.

You should buy from NCS!! Great CS from initial phone contact w/Sam to product delivery by Glenn!! The shredded wood mulch we purchased was much better than the mulch we ordered a couple yrs ago from a competitor, but still had some garbage (mainly pieces of plastic) & painted wood pieces.

I ordered one yard of unamended topsoil, which was delivered exactly as promised. The amazing part was when the driver deposited the dirt in exactly the spot on my driveway that I asked him to, maneuvering that big truck so deftly. Marvelous!

We have used North County Supply 3 times over 25 years for delivery of 10 CU yards of shredded walk-on bark. Sam was very responsive to our order requests and Glenn did a great job with the delivery. Our yard looks great again with the fresh bark.

Wish I read these comments before calling. Johnny picked up and after I asked him to repeat the quote and he said, "is my English not good enough...the others in the office are laughing at me repeating myself." So I politely told him I'd take my business elsewhere and hung up.

I called and asked for a quote. The sales rep was really rude. I tried to ask questions to help narrow down what I needed and he told me to call back when I know what product I want because he doesn’t have time for this.Wow….won’t be calling back
