I purchased a preowned GMC Sierra AT4 from GMC Escondido, and purchased the 60,000 mile warranty at time of purchase. Barely 1 month later the brakes started squeaking. I scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance. Dropped off my truck at the service center at 8am. At 1pm I called them, since I had received no update. The service rep said they were just starting to look at my truck. Then I got a call a few hours later with no additional information and they asked if they could keep the truck. Long story short, 2 days later I got my truck back, after having to pay more than $800 to have the front & rear rotors removed and shaved down due to them being dirty with corrosion, and they told me my warranty did not cover this and that was the best they could do on the cost, even after I explained to the service rep that I came out of pocket $5K cash down payment when I bought the truck off their lot only a month prior. I do not plan on going back to this dealership for service again. Feel like I got scammed, and they lagged on getting the work done. And the brakes still squeak a little. If I could give zero stars, I would have given that rating.

Worst dealership I’ve dealt with in 45 years. They forgot to send in the paperwork for my registration. They forgot to install lowjack, they forgot to get financing approved…. So easy a caveman could do it, but not them.

Service advisor was very helpful. They got me a ride 20 miles home. Very pleased with this dealership. There are several GMC dealers near me. This will always be my go to dealer. Thanks so much to them.

Service: With a scheduled appointment, it took nearly 4 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. I would not have cared, but they estimated 1 hour and 15 minutes for completion. Seemed professional when I dropped it off, but I was disappointed. Not the technicians fault, but cars and trucks that arrived after me were seen and serviced before mine. It seemed weird and added an unnecessary wait. Missed other appointments because of this.

Of all the vehicles I have purchased or leased, this has been one of the best experiences I have had. The Team at North County GMC was Awesome! They were easy to talk to, did not rush me, and made sure I was picking up the vehicle I wanted with no pressure. The GM spoke with me and made sure I was taken care of. The finance manager was very informative on all aspects of the contract. Every single person was great!

Our Sales representative Karla, was very professional and knowledgeable. She was very attentive and answered all our questions. She took us around the lot and showed us different vehicles until we were satisfied and picked the one we wanted.

Had an amazing experience buying my teen son's first car, Brian was so patient and knowledgeable. My Son's Father is a "New Yorker" , He is very tough on Sales people, Brian spoke to my Son's Father via phone call was very professional and very patient with him, answered all his questions and concerns. We got a great deal and left with an amazing car in great condition. Thank Brian I give you 5/5 and above. finance Manager Adrian was also very helpful and knowledgeable.

We will not be shopping here in the near or far future.
Unfortunately one of your salesmen on Sunday made us waist a lot of time.
He mentioned that we could lease a 2500 gmc after we asked him several times that we were interested in leasing. We asked if there were any incentives which he said also there were about $2000- $3000 in incentives for those specific trucks!
Upon sitting down and running our credit he THEN told us that there were no leases on those trucks and there were no incentives.
He gave us a paper with financing terms which did not meet our requirements AT ALL,
We did give him authorization to run our credit based on his “knowledge” however we were deceived. AND he proceeded to say he will not apologize. It is absurd and horrible customer service.
We ended up purchasing a Chevy from the Chevy dealership across the street who knew from the very beginning about their lease and finance programs. Ended up saving more money and they had more incentives on their trucks!
We won’t be returning to this dealership anytime soon. And also unfortunately there will be a review about this.
