“Decent store in a challenged area. Prices are a big high but Escondido PD often hangs out in this lot via all the other stuff going on in the area so it's safe.”

“They have the drinks I get in four packs.. not in a box. Harder Mikes are hard to find in 8 packs but I get them in 4 packs here.. they have a variety of liquor and beer”
“The folks over at American's liquor really are a cut above the rest. I mean that. The owner and his employees work harder to offer the things we buy the most of, at a lower price. The way things USED to be in our great country. When all the other establishments (as a result of COVID) are raising their prices-because they can, the folks at American's liquor look for ways to help us get what we need, affordably. I, for one am their very loyal customer. They've never let me down and for that they deserve 5 stars! ?????”
“This store has a huge selection of wine, spirits, beer, and snacks. It's is genuinely an amazing selection to choose from, stocked floor to ceiling. Every time, the staff has been friendly and helpful when I needed help locating something in the store.On the inside of the store, it's very organized, clean, and well lit. There is a large refrigerated section to pick up cold craft beer. They have beer by the bottle, can, large and small packs.lot of the selection is local to San Diego. They also carry unconventional alcohol like Sake, which is hard to find at other stores. Aside from the drinks, they have a lot of the last-minute things you would need for a party. There is also non alcoholic beverages, sodas, and a great selection of water to choose from.There is a large parking lot with wheelchair accessible parking located to the right of the front entrance. There is also a ramp up to the front. The lot can get busy depending on the time of day, but there is enough parking that you can always find something.This is a great spot to stop by if you have multiple errands to run. There are many lunch spots nearby, a gas station, and a Starbucks as well. It is very convenient for a one-stop shopping experience.”
“There are all kinds of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and food resca lottery and tequila and for school there are also parking lots for everyone, for the elderly and the people who serve you are good people”
“Awesome tiger trail and outpost at the Safari park. Good place to stop and catch your breath and cool off from the heat. We like to just walk around and look at the little shop inside. There are also good clean bathrooms nearby.”

“My favorite liquor store to pick up craft beer in East Escondido, selection might not be as good as the other "craft beer " spot across the street but prefer the service and prices from this spot hands down. Good selection of hazies/NE IPA's and other styles as well. Definitely recommend if you're in this side of town and looking for some brews.”

“I really enjoy this place; second visit... first visit was 3 years back. same cars in the barn and the outbuilding at the top of the hill. The cars in the barn are particularly forlorn with debris inside them, flat tires... they are housed, but not well taken care of, which is a crying shame. as if someone just decided to give up on them. still, nice enough place to visit.”

“I've been in a couple times and they've been nothing but nice and had what I was looking for ready to go and at a reasonable price. One time I actually got to the counter and rang up and the dude working there told the woman ringing me up "Oh, that one says $24 but it's $19 right now, it should be marked down", he didn't need to, just a solid honest gesture. Really bad Mexican soap opera blaring on the TV but hey that's part of the charm.”

“You know... I fit a stereotype where I usually get watched and or not get good service in stores... But Holiday Wine Cellar's employees are always cordial, polite and very knowledgeable! I went there for stouts because I knew they'd have a selection unlike anywhere in North County! I was not wrong. I spent at least 30 minutes looking at the different options.Left with a white chocolate dipped pretzel stout!!! If you're looking for anything out of the ordinary or anything special, go here man!!!!!!”
