Absolutely terrible. I prepaid $2000 for 2 years of services to my pre owned Lexus RX350 and the service employee, Tony, was very rude and combative with me. Once the final service was performed, I asked what all services did I pay for when I paid $2000 for when I bought the car. He shrugged me off and was trying to get me to leave saying “I don’t know what you paid for” and did not signal that he could look it up or anything, that he just didn’t know. So I left. I will not be going back to this dealership. Extremely unprofessional.

I bought my Lexus IS 500 from Lexus of Escondido in July of 2023. During delivery, I noticed that the Paint Protection Film (PPF) on the hood was less than basic in that it only covered 1/3 of the hood and part of the fenders - leaving the entire bumper, the rest of the hood, and fenders naked to rock chips. Additionally, there were tons of contaminants underneath the PPF, and there were striations in the film, even pry-up marks on a few of the edges. Pretty sad for a brand like Lexus to force the buyer to pay for such garbage and claim that it HAS to be added to the car. I was promised by my salesman that it would be fixed as soon as possible, and at the time, had no reason to doubt Lexus. Additionally, I noticed that the paint wasn't very smooth, featuring orange peel all over the car. Not an impressive start to a $70k purchase. The IS 500 has an initial inspection at 1k miles, something that the Lexus Enform app continuously notifies you about when you open it. As I was getting close to 1k miles, I called Lexus Escondido Service (LES) to schedule an appointment. I spoke to no fewer than FOUR employees, all of which told me that there is no such thing as a 1k service. I asked them if the Enform app is wrong, and they said "yes". Instead, I scheduled service to have the PPF replaced. Below is my recording of the events that transpired:Friday August 11:Drop car off. Ask Maryann if I can show her the defects in the clear bra - she says it's not necessary as they're going to replace the whole kit.Saturday August 12: Maryann tells me that the clear bra guy isn't coming in until Monday, so I agree to them keeping the car (why did they not know this yesterday?).I try texting her at the number she texted me from earlier - no response.Monday August 14:Still no response from Maryann.I call at 1101, get ahold of somebody who tells me that she'll message Maryann to call me.I call back at 1314, select option to talk to service manager - he's out for the day.Call back at 1316, ask to speak to Maryann - put on hold for 5 minutes. Someone answers and asks who I'm holding for, and I tell her the whole story, then she tells me she's Maryann.She claims that the car was finished 15 minutes ago - Lexus Enform app tells me it hasn't been touched in hours. Says she'll go inspect the clear bra and send photos, even confirms the number to send them to. Never sends them.Calls back at 1355, says that the doors were done, nothing else. Says she thought that's what I meant, even though I offered to show her which parts have contaminants. She says that for the front of the car to be fixed they need to file a warranty claim, and that she'll talk to her manager and get back to me. Maryann calls/leaves VM, tells me I can pick my car up, but doesn't tell me how long it'll take to get the warranty claim processed.I call back at 1515: she doesn't know when they'll know how long it will take, so I should come get my car today.When I got to LES, my car was parked outside, but nobody told me where to go, or what to do to get my car. I eventually found the cashier, then went back to the valet (?) He walked me across to my car, and said "I'm sure a YouTube video will explain the remote/windows/sunroof function. Nobody was there to explain. I noticed the passenger mirror clear bra still had a bubble in it, so I went inside to talk to Maryann, and she walked right past me on the phone. I spoke to a man from service, he explained that the mirror's clear bra is not part of what was fixed today - why didn't Maryann explain any of this? Additionally, I asked about the possibility of turning off the door and trunk chimes. Initially, Maryann said she'd check with the techs, then she said it's possible, then in the end, that they couldn't figure out how to program it. No mention as to whether they will attempt it at a later date.Leaving LES, the head unit was still in programming mode - why isn't this completed before delivery? Tuesday, Aug

I had a $50 coupon and was not able to use it because of the 10% military discount. My bill was over $1100 maybe $1300. Next time I will decline multiple services. For example, I should have done the $250 service taken the $50 coupon which is 20%. Then brought the car back to do the other services and received the 10% military discount. This makes me want to take it to another Lexus dealer for the second service to make sure I am able to use the discounts available. If someone has multiple services they should be able to use multiple coupons. I get it not to use multiples on one service, but to limit customers on several services is just taking advantage of customers. After my third Lexus and the service that has gone downhill at Lexus Escondido this may be my last. I hope I can be WOWed again by Lexus Escondido as I was in the 2010 time frame when we bought out first Lexus. Tyler was great, so this has nothing to do with his great service. I do love the cafe and the people that work there have always been great as well. Definitely getting better over the last couple years. Keep it up

You have to be careful with their finance department, they try very hard to sell you on the longest possible finance term, probably because that's where they make the most commissionAnother thing, get everything in writing. The sales manager tried early on to get us to lease a new car instead of buying out our lease, told me to come and talk to him but when he understood we were still going to buy the car at the end of the lease, he was not interested in talking to us anymore and we are still waiting for the gift certificate to Vintana he was going to give us

I purchase my Lexus 3 months ago and all was well with the process and the car but I do think potential customers should know that you will wait more than 3 months for your 2nd key. It's a bit of an inconvenience and it's never happened to me before. Also, make sure you setup a tech appointment to go over the features while you're there or plan to stay longer.

First of all, Im a Senior Citizen who has purchased Cars from Lexus Escondido and come here for ******************** for Years, and been satisfied with their Work and customer care. I have a beautiful ********** I got after Retiring.A few years later I purchased a 2010 Rx, also. Over the past **** years this dealership owned by ****,who also owns the ******** store ,has thrived and given good customer care and maintenance of my vehicles, But my July visit ($3,600) and the 9/2627th,2023 ($551) visits were different. Poor ************** let alone questionable repair and forgetful FollowUp ,by the consultant,and from *********** Manager outright little response to questions and call backs for answers about what work is being done and Why..? I Probably Wont go back to Lexus ESC, for Service again, which is a Shame, ******* 9/28/2023.Ps. I think its a matter of too much TurnOver of consultants and personnel!

If I could give this man 10/5 stars, I would absolutely smash the option. Roland helped us purchase a ES350 and was a complete professional. Not only was he knowledgeable about the vehicle, he made the process from start to finish quick and painless. I recently purchased a Lexus ES 300h and my experience was above & beyond expectations. My sales agent was Mr.Gurmeet and he is the kindest, most helpful and professional gentleman I ever met in all my years of car purchases. After test driving a few models I drove out a magnificent stunningly beautiful Lexus ES 300h. I am soo happy with my purchase and my every experience at Lexus Escondido was top class.I got tints from Lexus Escondido and the job was fantastic.This is my family’s 6th Lexus and it’s always going to be a Lexus for ever and my go to place is Lexus Escondido. Can't say enough good things about this dealership, not only are the prices great, but the customer service is outstanding. Bought a 2023 Lexus NX 350 Fsport, had to wait a few months because I ordered everything I wanted and nothing I didn't care for. Originally was going to go with a dealership closer to home, Lexus of Riverside, but when we were getting ready to sign the dotted line I noticed a 10,000 markup. And that didn't feel right, so i didn't sign that day, went home and made a few calls, Lexus of Escondido doesn't mark up their cars over MSRP, which to me showed integrity and a moral compass that points in the right direction. Fast forward 6 months and I take my car down for its first oil change, they got me right in and offered a loaner car if I wanted for a couple hours, never heard of such a thing, but it's policy at Lexus of Escondido, declined but then a gal came over and offered us coffee, sandwiches, or anything from the cafe while we waited. Once again I'm impressed with how well we were treated today post sale of the vehicle. Therefore I will gladly be driving over two hours each way to have my car serviced here. Marge, Patrick, and Atilla are friendly, helpful and go out of their way to accommodate. Whoever the owner is, you're doing a great job. I'm now a customer for life and my next car will be another Lexus, whether I need one or not. Thanks again, to everyone who made today a great experience Sincerely, Micheal Wyatt

When I called to schedule service for my 2023 UX 250 H I was told that the 10,000 mile courtesy service qualified for a one hour express service. Upon arrival I was then told that it would take up to three hours and in fact, took 3 1/2 hours. Moreover, I was also there to pick up the second key, which was not provided at purchase due to a chip shortage. While I was provided with a fob, the mechanical key inside the fob was not included.

Emiliano(Sales), Andrew(Finance) and Sammy(General Sales Manager) were all great, was able to make all the numbers work for my fiancé and went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied , have always dealt with Kearny and Carlsbad , but Escondido definitely has the best service and ambiance to make the experience worthwhile, will be back again in the future
