DO NOT GO HERE. I never leave reviews but am writing one after picking up my dress for a wedding in a week with multiple stains on it that were not there prior to me bringing my dress in. After asking for a refund, I was only discounted $5. I am so disappointed about this as all I needed was the dress to be hemmed but now will need to pay for a deep clean of the dress. Please do not go here!!

i called to ask if they can fix broken zippers and the man who answered the phone hanged up on me. i gave the benefit of the doubt of it being an accident and called back and my calls were ignored.

Horrible work, service and very expensive for a small job! Had to take the dress back after a simple hem because the work had multiple issues and a small stain! When I called to see if I could have the issues taken care of, the guy who answered obviously couldn't understand me and only spoke with grunts. After trying multiple times to make him understand, he hung up and wouldn't pick up when I tried calling back.

Don't Use this place. I took a brand new formal dress there to get hem and other alterations, the lady owner is not professional at all. The alterations look like they were done by a preschooler, also they stained my dress in different places. Very cheap work, she ruined my dress.. She is also very rude, when I told her the service wasn't done correctly she told me "You are too picky" don't waste your time and money in this place.

I lost 40 pounds and needed 5 work suits altered in a week's time before a business trip. The place down the street said I was asking too much with no time. Kay's did a fitting on 1 suit on my lunch break and altered all 5 suits in 4 days and I picked them up 2 days early. They did a wonderful job.Services: Coat & jacket alterations

Had a jacket pocket rebuilt and rear pocket added to jogging pants. Results were FAR BEYOND MY EXPECTATIONS. Work was performed fast and results were excellent. May thanks to Kay's.

I can not tell you how absolutely disappointed I am with this business.I took in a very heavily beaded dress in for a hem alteration. Apparently they did not even attempt to tie off the individual rows I was in shock when this beautiful very expensive dress started falling apart. I paid them handsomely for the work in advance. The dress was finished only 2 days before the event so I had no choice but to wear the dress .They did such shoddy work on the hem that this dress literally started sheading beads the entire night.Now I am left with no choice but to take the dress into another business and make it into a cocktail dress to save it. At the length it will need for the repairs I will no longer be able to ever wear it again.When I called them to tell the of my extream dissatisfaction the response was ...you had it for a couple of days so they were not responsible.Needles to say I would never want anyone to have the experience I went through. My resale/vintage shop, Humble Heart, is right across the street, so I took a very expensive suit to Kay's and she did an excellent job and was flexible on the price. I like this place and would go there again!

Kay's Alterations is awesome and i recommend them to everyone. We were in town for a wedding and my wife and i needed alterations to our clothing. My wife bought a dress and it needed some adjustments. Kay was able to complete the changes and even do a same day hem for my suit pants. Great place and great people coupled with great service gives them a great recommendation.
