Never had a car buying experience like this one at Honda of Escondido.i called and offered a price with in 5 minutes got a response accepted. I was direct and said I had my own credit union, they said no problem. They still had to run my credit didn't put any money down drove away with the car then credit union cut them a check next day.
I scanned the contract hard because I've been car shopping for months and know what to look for. Not a single hidden fee. No back end deals. The price was upfront and never changed from the phone call to the time I signed all the paperwork.
It's also a a Penske Honda so any used trade is evaluated with meticulous inspection.
This is probably the 3rd review I have ever written about any company. It wasn't about the car it was definitely more of the experience and trust in the dealer im buying from.

A special thanks to Manny who personally assisted us each step of the way, and even slapped a bow on the hood behind the scenes, and to Massud who closed the rest of the gaps through the finance department. Full Review:
Back story prior to visiting Honda of Escondido. My daughter was visiting us in Lancaster. She stated she wanted to trade in her BMW for a more reliable car. So, on Saturday, August 10, 2024, we went to a local Honda dealership in Palmdale. Needless to say, I will never step foot in that store again. They used questionable tactics that I just had to say no to.
My daughter was disappointed that she didn't get the civic that she test drove there, which she thought she wanted. She was still set on getting a Honda, since she used to drive a Civic prior to the BMW. A friend of hers called and informed her that there is a Civic that she would probably like at Escondido. We decided to drive down to San Diego three days later on Tuesday, August 13, 2024.
To her disappointment, the Civic was no longer available and was likely sold. So she was really bummed. But then she saw a 2023 Accord LX and we inquired about it. She test drove it and loved it. Long story short she got more car than what she was hoping for, a certified 2023 Accord LX with only 8k miles on the odo! Thank you very much Antonio for helping us without the unnecessary pressure. Antonio was awesome the entire time! Becky was very warm and welcoming as well. Thank you Honda of Escondido! My stepdad even stated that if my daughter didn't purchase the car, he would've purchased it on the spot. We might be heading back down there in two or three years when my son is ready to purchase a car for himself.
Now my daughter and myself are confident that she will have a car that will last a very long time!

We had a very positive experience with Masieh Azim of Honda Escondido. He was very informative and friendly without being pushy. We told him we were also checking different kind of vehicles from Toyota and we liked the fact that he didn’t bad mouth his competitors but let us decide for ourselves. We ended up buying a 2025 Honda Civic Hybrid from him and could have not been happier with our purchase.
