Amazingly, this small-ish place seems to always have every little unusual thing you want.

This place seems to be family owned, I've only ever seen the same 2 people working here (and there is a dog). Some people will love the dog and others will be allergic so it's worth pointing out and it's a bit small inside. There is an excellent select of beer and wine. This is the only place I can name where I can find a dry Riesling. The beer selection is very unique and I like that you can mix and match so many different beers and some are on clearance for some reason. Have to deduct a couple stars for the following reasons. When signing up for both their newsletter and their rewards program I never received an email or text, checking in spam folders as well. I wish they offered some sort of bulk discount. I picked out my own 6 pack of beer with a variety of beers while being mindful of the prices but it was still over $25 which is just too high. Some prices for certain items are significantly more than BevMo while others are significantly less. I've gotten into the habit of comparing prices. The location of Holiday Wine Cellar is a bit hard to get to but especially can be difficult coming from certain directions. I once waited 10 minutes at a light that was 100 feet from the store, it was ridiculous. They are closed on Sundays unfortunately. Overall this small business has an excellent selection but is lacking in a working rewards program and some quality control with prices.

You know... I fit a stereotype where I usually get watched and or not get good service in stores... But Holiday Wine Cellar's employees are always cordial, polite and very knowledgeable! I went there for stouts because I knew they'd have a selection unlike anywhere in North County! I was not wrong. I spent at least 30 minutes looking at the different options.Left with a white chocolate dipped pretzel stout!!! If you're looking for anything out of the ordinary or anything special, go here man!!!!!!

Been to this store 100s of times over the several decades, always a good experience- until this time. When I came in the store I was followed around like I was Willie Sutton. If the presence of someone in a wheelchair makes the staff automatically think they are a their they need to get a life. Made me very uncomfortable.

I have been a devoted customer of Holiday Wine Cellar for quite some time, primarily for their outstanding selection of Irish Cream. Without a doubt, this establishment has consistently exceeded my expectations, making it my go-to destination for both personal and gift-related libations. One of the standout features of Holiday Wine Cellar is their impeccable customer service. I've had the pleasure of interacting with their team on multiple occasions, and each time, they've been nothing short of amazing. Their responsiveness and willingness to go the extra mile truly set them apart. It's evident that they value their customers, making the shopping experience a delight. One of the aspects I appreciate most is the lightning-fast shipping. I recently placed an order for nine bottles on a Thursday afternoon, and to my pleasant surprise, they arrived by Friday via FedEx Ground. The efficiency with which they process orders and ensure timely delivery is truly commendable. It's clear that Holiday Wine Cellar prioritizes customer satisfaction by not only offering a fantastic selection but also by ensuring that your order reaches you promptly. The packaging of the products is another noteworthy aspect. The team at Holiday Wine Cellar takes great care in securing items for shipment. Every order I've received has been meticulously packed, guaranteeing that my precious bottles arrive in perfect condition. This attention to detail demonstrates their commitment to delivering a seamless and enjoyable shopping experience. Speaking of the selection, I'm particularly fond of the Cole Swann Irish Cream, and Holiday Wine Cellar is the only place where I can find it. The fact that they curate such unique and exceptional products, including rare finds like the Cole Swann Irish Cream, adds an extra layer of allure to the store. It's evident that they take pride in offering a diverse and high-quality assortment of libations. In conclusion, Holiday Wine Cellar has become my trusted source for Irish Cream and more. Their exceptional customer service, swift shipping, careful packaging, and exclusive product offerings make them stand out in the realm of online wine retailers. I wholeheartedly recommend Holiday Wine Cellar to anyone seeking a superior shopping experience and a superb selection of libations. Keep up the great work!

Just wanted to drop a quick line to say thank you and happy holidays to all the holiday wine cellar staff! They're a friendly bunch and always have the best selection of beers and whiskey! Picked up amazing Vermont and socal IPAs and Californian whiskey (redwood empire). Cannot recommend this place enough here in Escondido! Dog friendly as well. This place is a hidden gem of north county.

Unfortunately, my review for Holiday Wine Cellar is low due to a very rude and unprofessional interaction I had with the owner. Prior to going to the store, I went online and noticed that they had two rare bottles in stock (Fortaleza & G4). Understanding that these items are hard to come by I went to the store to purchase them in person rather than online. I am aware many people will used unfair tactics to acquire multiple bottles which leave many customers unable to obtain one including myself. While I was in the store I was able to find the G4 on the shelf however, the Fortaleza was not there. I asked the nice older women if they had the bottle and she kindly went to the back to retrieve one for me. I informed her that I could order online if that was the best method but she informed me that it was ok. During this time the owner proceeds to ring up the purchase and notice my account information. She then proceeded to call me a “Cherry Picker” aloud and state “I am not a loyal customer and only purchase their rare bottle” in a rude and condescending tone. She then expressed how she has been in business for over 19 years and hasn’t seen anything like this. I returned the bottle right after and then received a sarcastic “Thank you” as she walked off. As an Escondido resident, I wonder If she has told others that their account is not deemed a “loyal”? Did she give them the same verbal treatment? Or how many online orders are being filled for true “Cherry Picker” while she talked rudely to in store customers? It’s unfortunate that this was my experience today considering any other time I have gone to the store the staff have been friendly.

This is the coolest liquor store ever. This time they had a giant, fluffy, super sweet dog there, too. Grabbed some local wines.
