I have been going in escondido on washington boulevard for at least two years. It is a very clean and wonderful store to go 22 look for treasures . One of the treasures in their store is sylvia simpson, a sales representative that works there. She is a big reason for me. Coming back time and time again to see what I can find. She's such a kind person and a wonderful wonderful worker. I have recommended Sylvia to a lot of people that have gone there and really Love the store. I really appreciate you having such good employees. I would give this store and sylvia and the oth.er employees, ten star rating or more.Star rating 10

I would never recommend anyone to work at good or shop there if they have mental illness or a germaphobe I worked there for a few weeks and I had to deal with rats peed clothes and the men's pants always had a pee stain they had bugs in them or the were so new and never touched that they were hard and I had to get them to unstick to actually look at them I have sensitive skin so every day I touched the clothes I'd get itchy and red one week I kinda was in trouble I left early cuz I would have a rash on my arms and it was itchy so the manager good guy talk to me to figure it out on how to stay longer and it was fine then I talked to the job recruiter she was vary rude and told me " it's not preschool and I need to grow up" she directed it to my mental illness since i have autism and my people said to report this so everyone with mental illness will be disregarded and also unwelcomed by the job recruiter

Silvia was so awesome, and has such an amazing attitude. She helped us so much throughout the whole store, with any questions and she always so nice whenever we go in! Thank you!

I've visited the Goodwill Thrift Store located at 315 W Washington Ave in Escondido, CA a few times since its opening. The layout of the store is well-organized, with neatly arranged aisles and clearly labeled sections for different items. This makes browsing through the vast selection of clothing, accessories, furniture, and household items a breeze. The store is pretty decently sized, so you can find a range of items including clothes, housewares, jewelry, shoes, and other knick knacks. My biggest gripe with Goodwill in general is the pricing. It's not what it once was. You'll find Shein shirts or Target tank tops for $7.99, not much cheaper than buying them new. Probably better if you're looking for some older items or unique finds. The line can be pretty long to purchase, particularly on the weekends. I recommend paying a visit and uncovering your own treasures. You might find what you're looking for.

Nice store...organized, clean, staff is great. Prices not so much. You still can find deals every now and then. I understand inflation, but their items are donated, they get it for free. That's why I took off a star. I know they look stuff up on ebay, but I truly think they just look the listing price and do not check the actual sold prices. Also they really need in have the discounted color tag days like the Southern CA Goodwill Stores (LA/San Berdoo, Riverside) & OC Goodwills. But I have been told they make more money by sending excess to their San Ysdiro outlets and sell them to in bulk...so we retail customers do not get the discounts. Just the 10% w/ID for seniors, students, teachers, military - Chintzy if you ask me. It's still a good place to look around...and the current staff are absolutely great!

place is a joke, prices are out of control. I saw two different price tags on one item and they were both higher than the original price tag that was still on the item.. The people that work there are very very rude and the clothes still stink. did you noses out of the air and start washing some clothes.

There used to be a young Hispanic girl with really tall boots and a wonderful attitude! I don't see her anymore but she was amazingly getting things done in heels, I could never! Staff is usually nice even when it's just a few on the floor and you can see the struggle so I love seeing more staff now and the dressing rooms are open!

This goodwill is well organized but just a heads up, their dressing rooms are closed and they have no return policy. Everything is final sale! The worker told me I could try the clothes on over my clothes in a corner somewhere haha! I was sad because I found so many cute items that I had to put back because I wasn't sure if it would fit or if I'd like them on me. And I wasn't willing to spend $8-$10 a piece to find out. Their prices were definitely steep!

Huge store! Well organized. Air conditioned. Restrooms are available for customers. Large parking lot on the lot. The staff is friendly with smiles. Lots of household and furniture items but mostly clothes. There are some art pieces on the walls and jewelry in the cases. Covid safety precautions were taken. Plexiglass protection at the cashier. Staffers are wearing masks on this visit.

I have witnessed some pretty awful customer service at this location. Not only do the dressing rooms close an hour before the store actually closes the people that work there decide who's allowed in the dressing rooms and who's not. I was clearly told me and my daughter could not try on clothes 10 minutes after they had closed the dressing rooms as I proceeded to help my daughter try stuff on in a mirror in the middle of the store I noticed that same attendee let two other people in the dressing rooms. Shoked i thought i was mistaken and when I asked for a dressing room I was given attitude and talked to like I wasn't smart enough to understand. Then they proceeded to laugh as I walked away. I have never been talked to so rudely and infront of my daughter. I will never walk back in or donate to this business and I urge you to go to salvation army. Goodwill Escondido should be shut down.

This new location is nicer and more spacious. There seems to be more things to select from. Sadly this Goodwill's prices are ridiculously high. I'm talking the same prices you'd find at a Ross or Burlington. You're better off going to those other stores because you'll at least get new things rather than second hand. Also their music playlist needs a little work. I had my kids with me and the store was playing adult explicit music talking about sex and drugs. Sadly I will no longer be coming to this location unless they change their prices back to reasonable numbers and change their music as well.

I've been shopping at Goodwill for years and their prices were reasonable. Since they changed to this new location their prices got ridiculously expensive. I hope they come down so I can keep going.

The prices are ridiculous for a thrift store. I seem to see the same glassware whenever I go like some stuff has been sitting for weeks.the most annoying thing is the obnoxiously loud music? I guess all stores have to bombard us with music anymore but being-so loud does not make for a pleasant shopping experience.

This new Goodwill location replaces the one on 506 West Washington Avenue which is now closed. This location is easier to get to and has more parking then the last location. The store is very nice and very well spaced out with nice wide isles. Everything is on one floor so you don't have to walk upstairs like the old location. Employees were nice and very helpful. Store was nice and clean and well organized. The only problem I see is that the prices seem a bit higher then any other Goodwill locations. Maybe it's just for a little while until the newness wears off? That's why I took off a star was for the high prices. I could almost go to a retail store and get a new item for almost the same price. Come on Goodwill Corporate pay your employees better and the executives should take a pay cut and lower your prices a bit!
