Staff has been great to me however the doctor turnover is horrendous. I've been going there cuz it was in walking distance but in last 6 years I've gone through at least 8 providers, some good (they leave after 2-3 visits) some downright dangerous. I'm going to find someplace else where I can get some continuity of care.

Accessibility: they have accessible parking spots across from the building and then tons of other parking. The lot is never full. The ramp to get up to the entrance is all the way down at the other end of the building though, maybe four doors down. There are only stairs to get on the sidewalk right outside of this doctors office. The door to enter the building is a door where you turn the handle down then push in to enter. There is also a security guard always standing outside so if you need help you can ask them for assistance.Good opinion about San Ysidro Health: this location was taken over by San Ysidro Health a year or two ago and I love it. San Ysidro has a very proactive health approach versus a reactive health approach. What that means is that I sometimes get phone calls from the doctor asking if I want to make an appointment for the flu shot, COVID vaccine, get a pap smear or something else because they see in my records that I am overdue for something. I love that. I love that they call me instead of me always having to call when it's too late.Experience: from the outside this building looks pretty rough and there used to be a lot of homeless people sleeping in the parking lot but they have a security guard now all the time which I appreciate. When you get inside you check in then sit in the waiting room until they call you back. The inside of this location is a lot nicer than the outside. But the best part is definitely the doctors. Dr. Chris Snyder is the best medical doctor I have had in my life. All my life I had doctors who didn't listen to me and ignored when I needed help but Dr Snyder is the first doctor to believe me. That has been life changing. I avoided going to the doctor when I really needed to until I got Chris Snyder as a doctor...now I go when I need to. The only thing I recommend as something that they could improve on is the front office staff not whispering or talking to each other and giggling when there are patients around. A few times now I have felt like they were talking about patients, and one time I did actually hear them say a guy had been there multiple times for the same issue, then they got too quiet to hear, then they laughed. Even if they are not talking about patients, the patients will assume they are.

Terrible place - I am so happy I changed MDs out of this zoo! Terrible pain control after colostomy & waited 3 + hrs for dr after surgery in their god forsaken poor care waiting area ! Even with spots you usually have to wait s asN hour - so bogus! I’ve been an RN for 40 years & these are the kind of care centers you want to avoid. MD was more concerned about what his agenda called for & didn’t listen to my concerns.

Ever since they switched to San ysidro health, its been hard to get ahold of the office to make appointments. Asides from the front desk, Dr Snyder is great.

This place is the worst. The staff are terrible people. The only explanation to why this place could possible stay in business is that it's a front for something else. You get run around answers. If you're looking for a primary I urge you to stay clear. If you're someone who loves the dmv wait times. This place might be right for you. I watched countless people being belittled and essentially tormented by staff members.

They don't follow through on anything. Poor service, lazy staff. Great care if your a member of the caravan, I'm not. If your sick, call the paramedics.

If I could give less than one star I would. The staff is so severely inept it is dangerous. What I've gone through to get an appointment is so ridiculous it's almost unbelievable.I get a letter two weeks ago telling me to make a follow up appointment. So I call the office and to make an appointment. Long story short I'm told I can come in, but the insurance won't pay because it's been less than a year since my last visit. Two days later I get a call from the office saying I need to make an appointment or the doctor won't refill my prescriptions. Ok, I make an appointment for the next week for Monday at 11:00. I arrive at 10:55, sign in and set down as posted on a sign at the reception desk. At 11:30 I ask how long before I can see the doctor. I'm told maybe an hour more. I sit back down. At 12:00 I get a phone call asking me to make an appointment. I get up, wait 10 minutes to get someone to appear at reception and explain to them that I am sitting right there in their office waiting to see the doctor. After much more confusion and blank looks from the staff I finally get shown into an exam room. I finally get out of there, after 10 whole minutes with the doctor at 12:30. At 4:00 the very same day I get a voice mail from the doctors office asking me to call them regarding the appointment I missed today. Kid you not. With this level of ineptitude I wonder how many people have ended up with the wrong meds or even a wrong diagnoses because the staff can't keep records straight. Avoid this place like the plague.

Had an appointment at the santee branch, first I had to wait about 3 weeks, then 2 days before I got canceled and told to reschedule but no available for another 2 weeks. Then they asked me to go to the Alpine location??? Excuse me... I chose the santee location due to the close distance to me.

I shouldn't even give this place one star. Worse place ever. The front staff is unpleasant, you have to wait months for an appointment, the front desk gives appoinments to whoever they want and the rest have to wait long hours. They are very rude and when i called the supervisor to complain left 2 messages and they never called me back. I took my son as a walk in very sick and we waited like 3-4 hours to be seen just for the staff to say to come back as a walk in again tomorrow because my son coulnt be seen that day. Really? Who does that? Many bad experiences there! I tried to change my children to another doctor but somehow it didnt work. Finally today I switched my children and my husband. Happiest day of my life! Seriously, that's how bad it is at this place!

I'm taking my parents to this clinic over 2 years now. I always had problem with them . "Appointments". First they were giving us an appointment for lets say 11am and when you were getting there you had to wait hours to get to the room. And again waiting another hour to see the doctor. Then one day I called their supervisor and I talked to her about this . being honest she fixed this problem but now their appointment is freaking random and ridiculous. This is not a first time this thing is happening to me, I was gonna get an appointment for my parents as soon as I could and they gave it to me for a month later then today 3hours before the appointment they called me and they said doctor called sick and next available would be in a month. So i don't recommend here at all

The doctors were great and the location is perfectly convenient! It's close to everything and their parking lot is spacious. The doctor was attentive and wonderful. I would come here again. The only thing that i didnt like was that the front desk workers, they were unpleasant. As soon as the doctors replace the unhappy front employees, this place would be the absolute perfect medical clinic to go to. Keep up the great work guys and thanks for being in the neighborhood!
