I went in for a misfire diagnosis and the gentleman that helped me out, Oscar, was very helpful and was able to diagnose the problem with no charge since I had my wife and 8 month old in the car and the day was super hot, he was able to give me some easy solutions to fix the problem. If anyone has any issue with their vehicle I recommend esco auto pros

If you want a shop that cares about their customers and doesn’t try to find EVERYTHING that’s allegedly wrong with your car, so they can make more money, you should AVOID this place like the plague!
Took my car there for transmission problems (hard shifting). They checked the hell out of my car, emailed me a list of things wrong with it, until I called and said that I just wanted them to check the transmission and change the fluid! They then said that the level and quality of fluid were fine (huh? it’s a sealed transmission, so NO way to check on that), and they didn’t recommend changing the fluid, because “there is a small chance things would get better and a greater chance that it would get worse”. Naturally I said not to change the fluid. I then went to another shop, they checked my car, said the transmission fluid was low and in bad shape, so they changed the fluid, and the car got a LOT better, almost back to normal! But I was told that at some point I would need a transmission rebuilt.
Since Escondido Auto checked my car out with a fine-tooth comb, I contacted Manager/Owner James via email on Jul 24 and asked for his professional opinion as to whether the car was worth (judging by its overall condition) having the transmission rebuilt since it costs a lot of money.
He never replied to my email. About a week later I got an auto email from them saying “my car was in the shop”. I called to check on what that meant, lady said that it was because they were looking for a “used” transmission for me and would get back to me. A couple more weeks go by, no word from them. So, I called them and was again told they were still looking, and they’d get back to me. They did not. So finally, about 1 1/2 weeks ago I called them again; and was once more told they’d get back to me, but they never did to this day. So, I gave up!
That’s horrible customer service. All they care about is finding everything, and I mean EVERYTHING there is to find that might be wrong with your car, and give you unsolicited estimates, (so that they can make more $$$$$ off you!) and neglect to help up with what you really need.

I will forever bring my car to Oscar he does such an amazing job !!! He’s very quick and knows what he is doing I can fully trust him with my car and I know if I ever have a problem with my car I can make an appointment right away !!! I don’t regret coming to this shop at all it’s great and amazing !!

When I had my car towed in due to an issue with the hybrid system, they were very quick to call me and update me on everything. They not only performed a diagnostic on the hybrid system but they checked the whole car and I ended up having several other issues that needed to be addressed. They have been very good at communicating the the entire process. Thank you!!

Great people! Highly recommend! They were willing to work with me within my tight budget. I’d definitely recommend them to anyone and I’d absolutely go back for any hybrid or general repair needs.

I'm a mechanic and these guys overcharge... haven't been in but got quotes on what I needed and he was upselling something cheap. Found it for 1000$ instead of 6000k and did it myself

They are trustworthy and experts at what they do. I brought my Infiniti Q50 Hybrid for a Hybrid battery replacement and later for some oil leak. They did both jobs with flying color! My infiniti is like new!

I first brought my Honda civic Hybrid here just because it was close to where my car broke down I was originally going to go to San Diego and have it diagnosed BUT I’m SO glad I didn’t these guys were amazing they knew what it was within a day next day parts were ordered and the following day I had my car back it was the inverter for the hybrid battery. And now I’m leaving this review on my second time bringing my car in for a radiator same thing quick , communicative and reasonable price for excellent quality of work. Can’t recommend enough 5 star.
