So this hair salon is not for black girls , I booked an appointment showed up and they refused me service with no explanation ok fine, I don’t even where wigs or anything of that such I’m a natural curly hair girly with fine texture but its cool if I could leave zero stars I would, don’t waste your time with them.

Ive been here a couple of times and every time they do me soo good! I just got some tape ins installed and Maria did such a good job, I’m super happy :)

We went to have her hair colored with blue streaks , the owner started her hair & passed her off to a co-worker to finish we were there around 9 hours. The owner said she knew how to do it for dark hair. It looked good for about a week and that's it. I will not recommend or go back.

I got a hair cut today with Fariba. She gave me a wolf cut and it looks just like the picture I showed her. She used a razor to make the layers and it looks really nice. She was very good and it was surprisingly fast. I love this salon because every stylist I get is very good. I loved to San Diego but when I come to Escondido I still like to stop by to get a hair cut

if i could give 0 stars i would, in 2020 i went here to get a perm with my sister and at the time i was naive, had no idea what a test strand was, and entrusted these people to know that my specifically specified black box died hair wasn't going to hold up well to the chemicals. i ended up having to shave my head from how bad my hair was and it came out in literal chunks. i texted them crying after being charged double and they acted like they didn't know what was wrong even though my picture showed me crying and my hair visibly destroyed. ive thought about suing for emotional damages over this, bc i had to shave my head.

We are new to Escondido so I only had the wonderful reviews to go by. When I went in the first time, my hair had grown out to shoulder length. I had pictures of my hair in the cut I wanted which was only about an inch shorter than where my hair was. We talked and she said she understood. When she finished, my hair was 1-1/2 inches on the top and long layers in the back and looked NOTHING like what I had asked for. She was totally distracted by other people coming and going and asking her questions the entire time. I went home and cried for an hour and wore a hat for the next 3 weeks. When my sister died unexpectedly, I went in to a different stylist, just for a clean up so I was presentable and what a mistake! That was in November 2023 and it is still a mess. I will never go back and would never recommend this shop to anyone either. Extremely disappointed.

I effortlessly booked my appointment on line and had my hair beautifully cut by Maria! Maria and I discussed how my hair was to be cut and the results were fantastic! Very pleasant experience. Maria is very friendly, kind, courteous and professional. Her hairdressing skills are stellar!The prices are reasonable and the salon is comfortable and clean. Thank you E and D for a great salon and thank you, Maria! You are an incredible artist!

I got my haircut and blow dried here before leaving for my wedding, back in July. I really wanted to get highlights too but was nervous as I have never dyed my hair! Was scared to make a change right before the wedding, but decided to go for it and I am so glad I did! They did an amazing job with my “babylights”! My new husband just asked the other day if I wanted to go back to get them done again because he likes them so much! They also did a good job consulting with me and making me at ease about my decision! Would definitely recommend! I have attached a before and after for reference. Thanks again guys!

One of the best services I’ve ever received at a salon before! I will definitely be going back. The owners are so friendly and super knowledgeable!! I’ve never felt so comfortable until coming here. I would highly recommend them to anyone! Amazing products as well.
