I have been a customer of Diablo mini storage for 33 years… And today I walked in and Brandy and Chad were there. I haven’t seen them for maybe 10 or 15 years and it was so good to see them again they’re still with the company, they’re the best and I am downsizing my unit, but I love the business and the policies of this place.

the security level of this place is very sketchy----make sure there isn't any way for entry via space at the top of your unit or through mickey moused drywall held in by nails, easy to push in and out....I was robbed for over $3000 worth of stuff....no forced entry and insurance is not paying on claim....bummer. feel like it was an inside job or something ; /

I own a staging company so I am always in and out of storage units. Diablo Mini Storage has been the easiest and most convenient storage facility I've used. Sign up...easy and fast. Units...clean and ready to go. Staff...friendly and easy to work with. It's a win for me.

Beware! Diablo Mini Storage's facade of five-star reviews is a sham, propped up by offering freebies to new customers. In reality, this place is a cesspool of neglect, with poor maintenance and security.
Stepping into my unit, I was not greeted by my cherished belongings, but by a swarm of mice who had made themselves at home amidst my possessions. I spoke with another customer and he confirmed a mice problem in his unit as well.
Boxes, once neatly stacked, were now tainted by rodent waste, making a significant portion of my belongings unusable. The personal loss and inconvenience were overwhelming.
Despite claims of being a non-smoking property, the air reeks of cigarette smoke, courtesy of inconsiderate neighbors. My upholstered furniture, once pristine, now carries the unmistakable stench of tobacco.
It's not just the vermin and the smoke that plague this place. There's some sort of grime that falls from the ceiling inside your unit and gets all over the floor and your belongings.
Other customers seem to have little regard for the rules, treating the premises as their personal dumping ground. Discarded trash and food litter the grounds, and repair their cars in front of their units.
In my haste to escape this nightmare, I had to abandon my towels and linens, casualties of the rodent invasion. Diablo Mini Storage is not just a disappointment; it's a disaster waiting to happen, with potential health hazards from the vermin and the unsanitary conditions. Spare yourself the agony and steer clear of this den of incompetence and neglect.

Diablo Mini Storage is a great place to store all things, large and small, for any length of time. Your property feels safe and secure there. The staff is very nice and helpful, and management lives on site to help provide security. There are also heavy duty gates at the entrances with security code panels for added piece of mind. They offer theft and fire protection/insurance to help keep your valuables safe. It is in a quiet, safe area of Escondido, on Avenida Del Diablo (hence the name). I would recommend Diablo Minister Storage to anybody with items that need safe, secure storing.
