Pharmacy hours are a joke. Stood in line before they closed and then the registers automatically shut off at closing time and couldn't get my prescription. Will never have a prescription filled again!

Looking for deals? Find them here.Stack and leverage the rewards. It really pays off when you accumulate reward points and bundle them with the receipt coupons. Many of the staples in your home can be found here. Dare I say the prices and deals beat Amazon at times.I usually stop by pre Albertsons as they neighbor each other. Sometimes I use the water dispenser outside. Meh!Hope this helps you.

The store is affected by homeless people that sleep here at night and litter the area. The floor employees vary from good ones coping under corporate manglement or neglect, to others who blame the customer for their misery. That's been a running theme for the past 13 years. So why don't I go elsewhere? I come for the pharmacy where the very busy team fills my prescriptions, gives vaccinations and more, all while running a pharmacy. Maya and Kim are just two examples of friendly problem-solvers that keep me coming back.

I was shocked to know that my 11yr old granddaughter was approached by an employee an accused of stealing when she wasn’t by me, they shouldn’t have accused her of stealing when clearly she hadn’t stolen anything, she had a toy that was purchased at Target that the employee thought was stolen from CVS. Why didn’t they come to me with their concerns, why make my granddaughter cry her eyes out because she was overcome by looking like a criminal in their eyes. Shame on that CVS employee for targeting a minor and accusing her of stealing when she hadn’t stolen anything and is not a thief. That was no way to handle the situation if in fact they thought she was stealing, they should of brought it to my attention since I was in the store with my granddaughter. I was a frequent shopper there, was I said because I won’t be shopping there anymore.

I rarely right a review... but this situation can harm customers. My doctor e-scripted my prescription to this CVS on a Friday at 1130am. I received a text stating my prescription is being processed and will be ready at 3pm. I call at 345... they didn't have all the medication in stock and needed to order!?. Long story short...they should notify the customer immediately if they are out of stock. I spoke to the pharmacist Lily. She was extremely rude and was rushing me off the phone. Clearly, Lily is too lazy and does not care for the customers. I had been going to that CVS for years and because of her complete disregard for my health due to not having my medication, I will not go back to this CVS.

UPS for some reason picked this CVS to be a map-selectable delivery point for packages. This CVS was the most condescending vaccination experience I had during the pandemic and despite never wanting to return I thought ... how bad could picking up a package here be? This manager or whatever (I'm attaching a picture of her disgusted over my box) - female, gray hair, glasses, khakis, latex gloves) came out and bitched at me at how heavy my 25lb package was and how I shouldn't have had it shipped there. I needed no help - I just wanted to pick it up and carry it to my car. But no - she wanted to interject herself and cause a scene. Fantastic. After the scold of having my package shipped to a selectable UPS delivery point was over - trying to take and sign for this package went on for a -long- time. Some of the (younger) employees just tried to help but this woman seemed to want to assert her authority or whatever - scowling, wasting everyone's time - including that of her own employees. Once CVS Manager lady was finally over her tantrum I was able to take my package to the car - which I threw over my shoulder and carried out. Unbelievable. I have no idea why this Escondido drugstore is so toxic but it's awful.

Bad Customer Service! This pharmacy has bad customer service. A week ago I called to order COVID-19 Self Tests and they told me they were to busy to process my request. I was told to call back next week. I called back earlier this week and was told I could pick it up in the afternoon. When I got home and opened the bag found out I only have half of what I ordered and what was specified on the label. When I called the pharmacy to ask why, they told me "that's the only tests we have" in a very nasty voice. I know your store is busy. That's why I seldom go there. You should at least be nice to your customers. It's not nice early in the morning talking to people like that. CVS corporate needs to refresh their customer service training.

The most incompetent and dirty store ever. The front looks like some kind of ghetto. And the staff is just inadequate at best. Promised prescriptions that aren't ready or just might not even be in stock. They have no idea that some drugs are just quite a bit more important than vitamin C. They have zero empathy for the customers that can't go two more days without. Meaning that I am not early, you said my order was filled and ready and then when I pick it up it's my fault that they lied to me and had no clue that this isn't just a casual mistake. My wife will suffer do to their incompetence and just a basic give a shit attitude.

I have been going to this pharmacy for 3 years and it is absolutely top notch. Kim many times waits on me though she has moved up to pharmacist. She goes above and beyond to help. When insurance didn't pay for something she looked up discounts and work hard to getting things moving on another issue I had. She communicates well and works like a machine!

The pharmacy has been helping us for many years with no real issues, and Pharmacy Tech Kim has helped us immensely. We always leave the pharmacy happy with our meds and vaxes. The store has some fine people as well, but the push to use self-checkout truly grates. The place is seldom busy enough to need it, and the regional manager should try it with a bad back. I understand the need to help the disabled, but the abled shouldn't be badgered by the cashier to literally bend over.

Came to shop here for some medication and some employee who didn't have a nametag but he was a male who had long hair was following me around the store following my every move. He didn't bother to ask what I was looking for so I found it strange him following me around since he wasn't helping me at all. I eventually found the medicine I was looking for and went to the register and I was walking to self checkout but he immediately told me to go to the the 1st register and he charged me for my product and kept staring at me which made me extremely uncomfortable since the whole time he was harassing me around the store, I payed for my items and left but even as I was leaving he walked to the door to just look at me and didn't even say have a nice day or anything at all, overall I felt extremely harassed and felt uncomfortable by this employee, every other employee had a nametag but this guy did not so I couldn't get his name but I genuinely hope that some training is given to this employee on how not to harass customers

Friendly staff, especially the pharmacy. However, reason for the one star review is that the store is physically FILTHY!! Trash all over the floors. I even spoke to the Store Manager about how dirty his store is. His response was that it was difficult enough to get people to come to work, & corporate wouldn't allow him to hire a cleaning company to vacuum & pick up the floors. If it was my store, I'd do it myself after hours. As a result, I will use the pharmacy, but will not shop for anything else in the store. A beeline to the pharmacy & then out. I've NEVER seen a store so derelict & filthy. Ugh.
