Watch out for this bank. ATM alway broken. Will take your deposit and will suspiciously "malfunction" to trigger an "investigation" and delay the availability of your hard-earned cash. Shaddy at best. See its 2 star rating.

Worst service ever if you're a busy person with a schedule. They don't adhere to their schedule and don't reach out to clients before rescheduling. They are disorganized and lost information collected the day prior. Nice looking bank, bad service.

This is my favorite branch --small and personable. I get the top notch service from the personal banker and the tellers. The line can get long during the peak times but not as bad as at other branches and banks in town.

Don’t open an account with them. I was with chase for over a decade, never missed a payment and had excellent account history. Happily, the beginning of this year I paid off my cc debts. Now I pay of the balance each month. I made an extra payment, when nothing was due, and their online banking system auto populated the wrong payment account so it was returned. No big deal I paid from another account (keep in mind nothing was due and this was an extra payment). They closed my account with no warning. Beyond that the account rep who I was discussing it with stated “What don’t you understand, the account is closed”. They also don’t have the authority to do this based on the account agreement. They also stated they sent me a closure notice on the day it was closed, but in the letter and notice section in online banking has nothing listed where all other letters I have received have a copy here, this is a violation of Reg Z requirements of my rights to a notice as a consumer. This is an unconscionable treatment of a long-time customer, with excellent account history and credit, and proves they are only in it for the money. If anyone else experiences treatment of this nature I encourage you to explore your legal rights as a consumer, and to file a complaint with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau(CFPB), to their regulator (OCC), their insurer FDIC, and the NY Department of Financial Services (DFS).

I have gone in this bank twice to open an account. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Good luck getting someone to help you. I will find a bank that wants my business

Very very poor customer service. I had a situation where the Indoor ATM machine did not spit out my funds. They are not reliable! I tried withdrawing $1000.00 from the ATM machine, and nothing came out. I log in to my Chase app and it stated I had taken out that money. I spoke to a teller and she said I had to submit a claim. I was thinking maybe I would get half the amount that I need on hand or at least $200.00 but instead I was given poor customer service, a vague response about their machines, and was told that I would get the funds till "the next day". (there also was no guarantee I would get those funds on time due to heavy COVID 19 traffic and requests). I dont think staff is trained for situations such as these and cannot provide a guarantee solution.

David Doan, the banker there needs more training is all I have to say. He has no idea how to manage or give you advice with your finances there. Go somewhere else!! I might even go back to Wells Fargo. Not what I was expecting from a world class bank.

Unless you want your money to be held hostage, then Chase is the place for you. Mind you, I banked here ever since it was Washington Mutual. So, yeah...it's been a while. I never really had issues with this bank until an incident really set it off. We were issued settlement checks from my old job. Unfortunately, the check dates were misprinted. I understand how places have policies and guidelines to follow, so I can't be entirely mad. Then again, it made me wonder how some of my old co-workers that banked with Chase were still able to either deposit or cash their checks out. I was given the run around. It took me multiple trips and phone calls, but they were never going to give me money that's rightfully mine, issued to me, what my old job almost forgot to pay me after my hard work, etc. Unlike all my former work peers who had it easy, I had to ask for a whole new check just so Chase can finally give me my money. Back when I banked with them, I noticed they mysteriously take about $12 off your account each month. Not only that, when you make a deposit, money's always pending. They always make you wait to get your money. Money that's rightfully yours that they never want you to have. Thank you, Chase, for making me look like I was going to steal my own money. So glad I bank at a much better place that's not money hungry like you guys.

I really like this Chase branch. The tellers are always professional, friendly and helpful. I enjoy doing business with them. There are other Chase branches in Escondido but this one is by far the best run operation.
