All the employees are so nice here, the prices are so cheap compared to everywhere else for good quality items, and they have a huge selection! I bought ear muffs for sound reduction here; only $16! I will 100% be back!

They had nothing on the floor. And their employees are so pushy. I was trying to browse the shoes and one of the ladies wouldn't stop asking me if I found a shoe yet... I was shocked that she kept asking me every few minutes for a total of like 4 times. That's a bit much. So I hope they get back on track. I used to really enjoy shopping there but the last few times it's just very awkward feeling and almost feel like I'm doing something wrong according to how I am treated there. It's not a good customer service strategy that they have going on there.

Was at big 5 yesterday and want to retract my prior review as they obviously listened and got employees who enjoy their job who want to be there and who were extremely helpful. I had the absolute best customer service from the greeting when i walked in to the fast service of the shoe department and all with a smile and not that we were bothering them. I had stopped shopping here for the past couple of years because of the poor customer service. Glad i gave them another chance.....

I would just like to say that I witnessed some amazing service at this location today. The staff helped a man who would normally not get help based on appearance (he even mentioned he looked a bit "homeless") and they helped him find a sleeping bag that fit his needs. The staff helped him without hesitation. They did not ignore him or treat him any less and it was honestly amazing. They also helped me promptly and with care. If you are one of the 3 employees that worked on 2/15 at 6pm just know you are appreciated for being a good human being.

Well, it's a very good store, it has a lot of work shoes and for sports, I had stopped visiting it because they didn't know Spanish but I definitely went and they gave them the best service.
