We took our cat here for emergency. He had severe and acute cardiac issue and we believe VSH offered him accurate prognosis, best possible treatment, and attentive care. Dr. Borgman, Dr. Coberg, Alexis and all other amazing technicians demonstrated great expertise, understanding, and unwavering empathy to both us two humans and our cat. Alex and all other front desk crew provided us with all the information and help we could use.
We are absolutely devastated with the outcome, but we do not regret a single bit taking our cat here. Sometimes I cannot help but think modern science is overrated (cynical, I know) and there are still so much more we need to figure out.
Nevertheless, I believe people here try their best to save lives, and that is a sacred and most respected cause.

I took my dog in for radiation for cancer and the entire radiation oncology team is fabulous. They are kind, the doctor listens and responds to my concerns and I felt like I was a part of the treatment team

The level of insight and professionalism that we encountered at VSH was unparalleled. Drs Morad and Ching were truly exceptional, saving our beloved pet. Their diagnosis identified a rare condition that our primary care veterinarian, a well respected, highly experienced vet had not considered.

First time needing emergency/after hours veterinary care for my cat. Brought him in for constipation, was pleased with how quick we were helped. Both the tech and vet showed excellent bedside manner and their treatment was appropriate for my cat's condition. The staff were mindful of potential costs and discussed all options with me. My cat is now starting to feel better and able to continue treatment with his primary vet.

we brought our dog to the north county vet hospital, where our bill was almost $8000. We were told our dog was going to need a blood transfusion and probably quite a few more blood transfusions. So we said OK, After her first blood transfusion which we found out was not a full blood transfusion much later, They told us they did not have enough blood and we would have to go to Sister hospital where we were told it would be less than $2000 for her first blood transfusion because North county had done all the work already. We were hit with almost $6000 bill for her blood transfusion at the Sister hospital which we also found out was a blood transfusion not a full one. Our dog got one full blood transfusion before our bill reached about $16,000. She could’ve had two more if we weren’t lied to about the price and if they did not start a treatment that they were unable to keep up with. After speaking with the tech, we found out that we were told lies, and we ended up having to put the dog down, which I understand that happens. But if we were not lied to our dog would not have spent her last week in and out of vet hospitals getting half of a treatment, we thought she was receiving full treatment for. Just avoid this place they clearly only care about money

They took the best care of my 14-year-old Pomeranian and had a very clear direction and was always available to talk when I called and gave me great updates. I felt at ease, knowing that she was in such great care.

Staff is very accommodating and compassionate! This is extremely helpful when in time of worry. Service of vet tech and Dr.'s was also knowledgeable and answered all our concerns. Would highly recommend them!

I would give them my highest recommendation based on the services and doctors. The office staff is wonderful and the doctors exceed the bar! They are specialists who are experts in their field. I would trust them with any issue that is complex.

This hospital is by far a 10 star hospital. The staff is great, very compassionate. Very patient and doesn't forget to ask how YOU are. My dog Dakota had sergury here and I loved it. Thank you so much. Face Foundation had a part in this helping me with funds. Without either one Dakotas leg would be amputated. Dr. Pike is fantastic and caring. Thank you.
