Love Aldi's, Save $$ on everyday essentials, even wine and beer. I buy many items, cheese is a deal, bread, eggs, and fruit and veggies. The meat is not great, bring your own bags and a quarter for the cart check out.

Great store for excellent prices and value. They have many EU items, which is good since GMO items are banned there. Employees are very helpful and friendly. Subscribe to their email list you get the weekly ads so you can get the special buys before they run out.

This is an OK Aldi. If you’ve not been to one before, don’t expect to find helpful employees. The employees are just there to push food out to the floor and check you out. If you need a loaf of bread you may find yourself waiting behind two families with tons of stuff. It’s all about low prices, not cushy amenities. There is a chain on the East coast called LIDL - we need that here. Those stores are about twice as nice as Aldi.

Always great prices. Great satisfaction guarantee. I had turkey go bad before the sell by date (by about 2 weeks) they replaced it AND refunded the money.

Wow I found medium small avocados for $0.59 each. They also have one of the best prices on almond milk or soy milk or which under ever kind of non-dairy milk you like. Part of me hates this place because they are yet another union busting grocery store you will notice that their employees have to stock shelves and check sometimes back and forth absolutely ridiculous they have good prices on some things but not so much on others. Every time I bought nuts there or a nut mix it is old and stale very strange. The bread however seems to be on a better quality. I have heard the same company owns Trader Joe's so this is kind of like the discount Trader Joe's with a little more variety. But still non-union.

Excellent prices on many items. Easy to get in and out of quickly. Nice atmosphere. Need to be discerning with produce though.

I wasn't a big fan of Aldi when they first came to California. This particular Aldi though is now my favorite. Mostly because of their staff:Danny (who works the register) is a wonderful person, He's young but is exceptionally grounded as a person. Despite his young age, Danny is comfortable in his own skin. He brings this genuine strength to the table as he performs his work. This guy would be an accent to any company he works for Their manager, Erik (with a "k") is also a delight. This is a guy who knows how to lead without being a bully. He leads with diplomacy and strength. It used to annoy me that Aldi has us insert a refundable quarter into the cart to free it from its cart leash. Now I totally get it. This lowers the likelihood that their carts will be taken off the lot and never returned.Pro Tip: Go to Aldi every Wednesday. Other days are great too but each Wednesday they stock their store with all of the new deals---some deals are so great that they sell out.Pro Tip

We have been very satisfied with the two Aldi stores in Escondido. Today was an especially satisfying experience at the West Escondido store. While shopping there, there were no organic eggs on the shelf. When we started to check out our groceries, a friendly checker, named Curtis, asked us if we found everything we needed. When we mentioned there were no organic eggs, he said he knew there were some in stock in the back room and ran to the back and then ran back to the check out counter with two dozen organic eggs for us! Not only that, the organic eggs were only $4.59 per dozen! That is about $1.50 per dozen less than even at a Walmart. They have very good produce, organic beef, whole wheat bread, etc. all at very good prices. Consumer Reports magazine recently rated Aldi as having the best prices and good quality items. We totally agree.

The signs sometimes are out of date. Showing the old sale price. The store manager was rude.
