Aldi has become my grocery store of choice. Great fresh fruit and vegetables at reasonable prices. Bread and fresh bagels yum yum. Outstanding white wine at bargain prices.
I shop there weekly.
Putting a quarter for a shopping cart is a drag, but I can live with it.

Great selection that's always well stocked, has very low and reasonable prices, along with friendly and helpful staff. The lines are never more than one or two people if that everything I go, and I come here once or twice a week. I really like this grocery store!

I like Aldi because of the low prices and the quality. I shop at different locations. The location in Escondido on West valley parkway is not that well kept up. They don't have many shopping carts available. Also the items that are stocked look rummaged through. I think this location could use a little cleanup. 1352B W. Valley Pkwy, Escondido CA

Great products and prices, but having to carry everything by hand sucks. They require having a quarter to unlock shopping carts. This day and age many people do not carry physical money.

I usually enjoy shopping at this Aldi's, but this evening, the clerk at the register was very rough with my groceries; slamming them into the bottom of the cart with an angry look on her face. I asked her to please be gentle, and she was gentle with the eggs. Some extra training might be needed for this person...

Aldi is a surprisingly great store to shop at. It has a really different setup and vibe than most traditional American grocery stores. Everything at this store is more affordable than going to one of the big-name grocery stores. A lot of the items seem like white labels or manufacturers direct, but it is really quality food.
They have items for families in sizes and at prices that make it affordable to shop again. The fruit, berries, and nuts especially stand out as a great deal. Far less expensive than anywhere else, and they are really fresh.
It's also a great place to pick up knick knacks and random things for the home. They have different stuff every time I have visited. It's also a step above the other discount grocery stores in the area. They have a consistent stock of all the family food essentials.
Just make sure when you check out that you bring your own bags or are prepared to buy paper bags. They don't have the traditional 10 cent plastic bags here. You also have to bag your own groceries. There is no self check out either. If you want a cart to shop with, bring a quarter. The checkout process can be a bit off-putting at first.
There is tons of parking for this store. Wheelchair accessible parking and entrances as well. All in all, the quality per dollar of items at Aldi seems unbelievable compared to any of the nearby grocery stores.

Love Aldi's, Save $$ on everyday essentials, even wine and beer. I buy many items, cheese is a deal, bread, eggs, and fruit and veggies. The meat is not great, bring your own bags and a quarter for the cart check out.

Prices are good .. Very little customer service to find specific food items. Only one checker during my visit.
