I came to 5th Avenue Auto after a sour experience with Kia Service and was impressed by the professionalism, clear communication, honesty, and delivery vehicle as promised when it was promised and at a low cost. Well-done and I will definitely try 5Th Auto for our next car service needs, hopefully a long while from now!

1/4 the price the dealer quoted. 1/2 the dealers recommendations were for unneeded work. 5th Ave did the needed work for 1/2 the quoted dealership price.
Options were clearly explained. I chose to wait on site as 5th Ave worked. Dealer didn’t offer that choice. Waiting room was nice, friendly place.

Yesterday was the second time I had a car smogged at 5th Avenue Auto. Friendly, quick service, and the price can’t be beat! I would give 10 stars if possible!!

My local Lexus dealership wanted to charge me an arm and a leg for an issue they discovered. Wanted to get a second opinion and saw all the reviews about Fifth Ave and how honest they are and I took my Lexus in for another inspection. They told me while there was an issue the problem occurs in four out of five Lexus engines of my model type and that it's very negligible and didn't need immediate attention. Not only did they quote me 40% less to fix the issue then the Lexus dealership they were also honest and telling me that I really didn't need to take care of it right away. Really appreciated the honesty and I'm going to continue to get all my servicing done here at 5th Ave

I visited 5th Avenue Auto, approaching almost a year now, to diagnose a steering wheel issue and get an alignment. Despite mentioning that the problem was intermittent and did not occur on the way to the shop that morning, the front desk proceeded with the diagnostic, which cost $160 and found nothing.
Numerous attempts to resolve the dilemma and receive a discount for future services were met with resistance with the manager only offering to do another diagnostic for free when the issue becomes more frequent although this is unlikely as the alignment seems to have greatly reduced the issue.
To be fair, I did receive a partial $15 refund on another visit but only because the worker couldn’t contact the management and wanted to at least help me out a little. THIS worker understands customer service!
The overall experience was frustrating and I’ve already withheld giving them a review for many months now so I guess now is the time to move on and say I would not recommend this shop.
Other side issues:
-Their maintenance schedule looks to differ from the car manufacturer's recommendations, suggesting additional services.
-Their alignments always seem to leave my steering wheel off center and a little to the left.

5th Ave Auto Service. I without reservation highly recommend this Smog Check service center.
Both Mitch and Scot are professional, courteous, friendly and really do know their job. We took our 2001 Honda that hadn’t been driven much and just had its battery charged. Mitch very patiently explained that we needed to drive a bit more before the car could pass the smog check. He was so professional and helpful, that the following day we brought our 2016 Honda Pilot in for the required smog check. We were in and out in less than 20 minutes! These guys are so friendly and very competent. It is so wonderfully refreshing to meet people who know what they’re doing and do it with confidence and a smile. We will definitely be coming back to 5th Ave Auto Service as often as the cars need service. Mitch and Scot rock!!
