my family has been a customer here for years and we’ve wanted to leave almost as long as we’ve been with them. They have outages all the time, their speeds are atrociously slow, and they will conduct shady practices to keep you with them like claiming the hardware at your house is too old or not compatible anymore so they can charge you to replace said hardware, when it is fine. The funniest thing is that on multiple occasions we’ve complained about our slow speeds, subsequently gotten speeds that actually match what our plan says we pay for, then reverted to the slower speeds after a month, maybe a month and half. This company’s practices are predatory and immoral. We pay 70 dollars a month for 10 mbps and we get 1mbps 28 days out of the month. We are actively searching for a way to replace this garbage and will as soon as it’s possible. Goodbye velociter.

I’ve had this company for about 4 years now at first it was going good and then it started to really go bad fast I called them they said my router was too “old” but I don’t think it was the case they recently installed a new one and since then my wifi is trash and I’m truly disappointed honestly but I will look for a new one soon it only works 2 days out of the week and barely getting the speed that they have supposedly 10 mgbs I’m only getting between 4-5 disappointed

"Owner" contacted me unannounced. Refused to communicate in writing. Said he would only speak on the phone to discuss "options". I indicated i don't have internet, which is why i wanted said "options" to be communicated. Coordinated the replacement company Hughes while this transpired and i was asked by the "owner" if the internet truly didn't work so he could turn off the signal as their equipment at my home was adversely affecting THEIR network. (now i'm the problem) I indicated it's his company and he confirmed I don't have internet so what did he think ? I told him to turn it off and coordinate his company to remove their equipment when the replacement company is coming. I was met with further unprofessionalism and projected impotence. I was called Karen. Please see associated pictures. Oh, also to note, when i advised him his yelp would be updated with that professional exchange he threatened to release my customer service calls with their company. I called his bluff and said go ahead. Stay Classy Velociter !

My dish was blown over in the recent wind storm. Technician was out the next morning and had it repaired in a few minutes. Excellent service from the tech and service restored. Previous internet provider was AT&T where service was slow and repairs needed often. Now much faster service and no repair required until this high wind storm. I definitely recommend them if you are in a rural area.

Consistently horrible internet. Technicians come out and say they don't know why, then tell me they "might" upgrade a tower in 6 months or so. No idea if that will improve anything.

Best thing we did was switching from Velociter to Ayera.

Like paying for something that doesn't work? Then this is the provider for you.Internet speeds unacceptably slow. Significantly slower than the standard from 10 years ago.

Slow during peak hours, i always pay my bill, yet my service is sub par. ( 2 years later I am dealing with the same frustrations, terrible customer service and communication) beware!! (2021 Update - Nothing has changed except now they no longer have customer support just a voicemail for afterhours when you are sure to need it) Going to try Ayera technologies soon as there are few options and i have heard they are better overall.

I always feel like I am being punished for living so far out in the country away from the hustle and bustle of the actual city of Modesto because of this internet provider. They're not open on weekends, you can't pay your bill online UNLESS your within a certain distance from the router, so when I'm out of town or out of state, I can't pay my bill. In the event you forget to pay your bill and it's Friday, your f****** I work from home and own a small logistics business from my home since the Pandemic and twice a week we are without service from three to eight hours. Today was 8 hours , so I missed money all morning because I'm a dispatcher and broker! All of these services require internet. Then when you call the techs say the same thing every time. Sometimes I call hoping one of them knows anything, but it's clearly scripted, "Uh yes we're doing some maintenance ". FOH we'll do we get a discount??? AT&T would at least credit my bill every time they made me miss money. NOT Velocitor! They take full advantage of the fact that they are the ONLY internet service that services us country living folk and frankly I am sick to death of it!!! Like wtf

Zero stars, but I have to pick at least one. No service now for hours.....all three locations, separate bills on each(whole family). August 1, I'm done with this.

We have used them for several years. Recently, with working from home, we chose a higher-priced plan and increased access on our property. From then on, our reliability went out the window. I am rarely able to be connected for longer than 10 minutes. We have called them, but they still have not fixed it to any degree. Moreover, they do not even follow-up with us, as a business should with long-term customers. We are now looking elsewhere. So I am quite surprised when I read reviews that indicate how helpful they are. I certainly have not found that to be so.

If you want the worst internet service money can buy you've come to the right place. Expect your internet to go out every 20 minutes. Will be switching to another provider.

This place is a joke! Internet sucks and everyone knows it. Everyone who works here is incompetent and doesn't care about the customers. Just a matter of time before this place goes out of business, and it's definitely sooner than later. Other internet providers are coming to the area and are much more superior all the way around. It's going to be a good day when this place goes out of business and it becomes a coffee shop or something instead. Something much more useful for the community then what it is now.

Company has built two towers in Stanislaus county with out a PERMIT, will be before the county planning board on Jan-20th 2022 to beg for permits after the fact of building and operating them... great time to speak at meeting under public comments and talk about this company's treatment of local residents and our county's laws on building private corporate tower sites. ( every few miles wiht out any attempt to camouflage them )
