Went here for a tour today with my class. The family who runs it is very nice and the cheeses and spreads were all incredibly good. We weren't allowed into the area where the cheese is being made, but were able to view through a window. The process seemed very interesting and I will be sure to buy from this company again.
Stuyt Dairy Farmstead Cheese Company, LLC and Stuyt Dairy are located in Escalon, California. The city is surrounded on all sides by scenic agricultural land and open spaces, the perfect home for Stuyt Dairy Cheese and Stuyt Dairy. As co-owners of both operations, Rick and Ansally Stuyt are proud to continue the dairy operation that has expanded into a cheese company. Only a small percentage of the milk produced on the dairy is used to make an Artisanal Farmstead Raw Milk Gouda Style Cheese. Aside from the traditional regular Gouda, Stuyt Dairy Cheese also offers several additional flavors. Other flavors include aged, cumin, smoked, bacon, garlic herb, onion parsley, jalapeno, and habanero. As of June 2018, we now also offer cheese curds!
