Not once tried to upsell us. Explained everything about each bed and we left with a new bed. We’re very happy and pleased with the customer service couldn’t have asked for better service. La-Z-Boy I would like to give credit where credit is due. I would like to extend a sincere, thank you to Michael at the La-Z-Boy store in Modesto California. Michael, you showed my husband and I that you truly have earned those awards that are hanging in your store.
Now going through the channels, we see that the company Northern California chair corporation is the one who had the manager by the name of Desiree, who showed no professionalism and quite frankly does a disservice to the company.
La-Z-Boy showed their character and where their priorities are with their customers. Thank you again, Michael and those associates around you who helped to resolve this issue the way it should’ve been handled.
La-Z-Boy what a horrible excuse of a company. Friends and family let me tell you a story. A couple months back. We bought a chair for Tom ❤️ a new rocking recliner. He’s been looking for months and found this one at lazy boy.
We didn’t have the chair for a month and the chair was making creaking sounds and popping. We thought maybe had to be worked in. Nope. While Tom ❤️ was sitting in the chair, we noticed particles falling off from the leather that was being scratched off from the base and then the spring popped write off! . La-Z-Boy sent out a tech and he even rolled his own eyes, knowing what kind of product he was dealing with. He put in new parts that took an additional month and a half because they lost the parts and didn’t know where they got delivered to. Finally, the tech put a new base on and springs and was on his way. Not three weeks later the spring broke again. Tom ❤️ called lazy boy customer service and got a product manager by the name of Desiree on the phone. Desiree was rude and disrespectful. She was accusatory and even went as far to ask my husband how much he weighed! We went to the store and talked to the manager, escalated it to another gentleman. And then to a VP and have gotten no where!
Needless to say the customer service and the quality of these chairs go hand in hand. They are absolutely horrible! Do yourself a favor and do not even entertain to buy from Lazyboy. You will be sadly disappointed and will spending way too much money on a product that is poorly made.
Please share our experience. In hope it will save others from the same experience.”

“I had a delivery on 05/30 from 11am-1pm that’s never came nor did I ever get a call why. I later called 2 days later. I was told the delivery driver was over packed. Said it’ll be another week or week and half. I was told these were in storage still so I could go pick them up. I did. Found out these couches were on display since that Monday before 05/30. They said they’ll deliver Saturday which was 06/01. Called at like 1pm they said they’ll be heading out soon. I get called 2hrs later with an excuse of truck breaking down and not working even though the guy was heading out already. which doesn’t make since?? Same day I went out to Modesto to retrieve my couches. I didn’t know they were displayed couches and wanted to talk negotiating the price. Said no it wouldn’t work. So the guy in Modesto offered to take off 100. So I canceled my order, The people from Stockton RAC on Wilson way, Basically told me off and was very rude and said “Go ahead and cancel and to let you know your payment you sent in isn’t refundable” then hangs up the phone. Both myself and the people in the RAC in Modesto looked at one another in shock. Dont not go to RAC on Wilson Way, In the Parking lot of Food 4 Less
I recommend Modesto by far, Manny and Marissa will set you up with the goods. They are amazing people and give excellent customer service”
“We don't go in here enough. I forget about some of the great stuff in the food isles. I bought a Tabasco sauce I never tasted before and a couppe other items. My wife wants a new set if dishes and we found a set she really liked.
Go in. You can't regret it!”

“We were looking for a cabinet and vanity. Sherry assisted us with the one cabinet we liked and showed us online vanities that were available. She even went so far to call around to see if any of the one we liked was available in any local store. She wanted us to look at it before ordering to ensure it was what we wanted. Great customer service and we would definitely return when looking for any additional furniture.”
“Super friendly guy , I was was not having much details about the types of blinds, he explained me in detail and helped in choosing the suitable ones living and all the bedrooms. Service is also very good was facing some problem with integrating hub for Alexa , he came and fixed that one as well”
