Went to the store in escalon, on Tuesday Sept. 26. I used to go often. There are carts filled with msde. Self serve, checkout was closed. 1 cashier, there was msde. by the front register, why was the cashier not working on the freight that was there. 2 young men towards the back working the freight, then 1 left. Cases of water left outside. I'm not sure what happened, but it never looked like this. Terrible. Won't be back.

When we first moved to the area I would only shop at the local grocery store as it was simply a habit. Unfortunately grocery prices led me to finder cheaper alternatives. I was pleasantly surprised by this dollar general! It is generally well kept and the employees are nice. I only wish that they had replacement stock on hand for some items that tend to run out quickly. My only other recommendation is that the front area could be organized a bit better. Some of the seasonal items get pushed together and hidden in what appears to be clutter. Overall, good place to get necessities!

Incorrect hours, refuse to fix. Wasted my time when I was headed home from graveyard.Also always out of bottled water every damn time I go here. Never again

Usually a good place until tonight the cashier was letting several people in the store without masks when it clearly says on door u need to wear one. I think they really need to enforce this policy.

Love this place.. Has everything needed always and usually more... Prices are GREAT. So much easier to drive here then to a bigger store..
