Mike is the best

Three weeks ago I brought in my wedding band that was made too small - a diamond eternity ring, and two costume bracelets. The ring needed to be shaved on the inside to make it slightly larger to fit my finger for my wedding, and the bracelets needed to be made smaller. I went in on a Friday, and Mike said he does repairs on Fridays, so could I wait a full 7 days. I said I needed it done by the following Wednesday, so I'd take the pieces somewhere else. He insisted no no, that's fine, Wednesday works. They will be done then. Fixing the two bracelets: $10/each Shaving the ring: $60 I went back the following Wednesday, and he hadn't done anything. No apology. He asked if it could be done by Friday, I said no. He promised Wednesday - and I left the next day for my wedding. I said I'd take the pieces and leave and he said he'd fix them by end of day. I asked if he was sure, because of my tight timeline. He assured me. A few hours later he called and said he couldn't fix the ring, no apology, and that he'd fix the bracelets for free, and to come in and get them within 2 hours. I drove back, and as he was giving me the items he explained how I shouldn't just take the ring anywhere because it was a hard fix. He then said he'd only charge me for one of the bracelet fixes. ...I said "on the phone you said you'd fix both for free" He laughed. As if I was taking advantage of him. There was a woman working behind the counter. I looked over at her and back at him. I'd never been treated so rudely before, I was in shock. With a straight face and calm voice I said "You're laughing at me, but you said you would have my ring fixed by today. It's my wedding ring. I get married this weekend and you assured me it would be done. You said you'd fix my bracelets for free and now you're trying to charge me $10?" The woman said "he did tell you that" No apology. "When is the wedding" I said Sunday, and before I could continue he said "that's plenty of time" and I said no, I leave tomorrow. I told you I needed it today. The ring fit a different finger (not my wedding finger) and he said "that's a nice fit!" ...to say I should just wear my wedding ring on a different finger, because he didn't fix it in time to fit the right finger. Mike's ego is his detriment. No apology, no respect for the most important day of my jewelry's life. No care for giving his word- multiple times, and not following through. To the woman standing by him who acknowledged that he made a commitment and didn't follow through, please hold him accountable. I rarely feel I'm treated differently because I'm a woman, though the way Mike treated me made me feel lesser than, unworthy of respect, and he laughed out loud when I held him accountable to his word. You promised to fix my bracelets for free as a gesture of apology and then tried to get $10 from me? I tried to write all this calmly, weeks after my wedding, so I wouldn't be emotional or angry in writing. I'm proud of myself. I do feel calm, not angry. I hope future brides read this and know to stay far, far away from this place. Mike, do better.

I called to request a quote for an appraisal. When the phone was answered it was just, "Hello". No indication that I had actually reached Pars Jewelry. I paused because frankly I was shocked at the complete informality. I am NOT saying that people should stop their patronage, I am only expressing how absolutely disappointed in the lack of professionalism when answering a phone call. It is the very first impression that a potential customer is given.

I met Mike the owner to talk about creating my wedding ring, he was very cooperative, and helped me bring my vision to life! he was super affordable compared to the other estimates I got from other places. I will come back for all my other jewelry needs! I recommended him to my all my girlfriends and they loved him too!

Came in after calling for hours to get a battery replaced and a back put back on a second watch. He was responsive, polite, and friendly, allowing me to wait while he efficiently took care of my watch needs. Thanks so much!

He sells second-hand gold to you with the reward of making new gold. When you ask him, this is a second-hand and repaired, they speak to you with disrespect, second-hand products and more expensive than anywhere else.
