On June 5th, 2023, I got a scary phone call from my best friend scream crying after leaving a laser appointment. She told me she got severely burnt by someone who worked at this med spa, and she knew the damages were going to be really bad. After facetiming and showing me her arms, my heart sank to my stomach. Her arms, her stomach, and her lower back looked like a leopard from all of the burn-mark scars throughout her body. It was unbelievable that something like this could happen and how “professionals” could be so ignorant, terribly trained, and haphazard with their clients’ health. I am disgusted with this med spa, and they should be shut down immediately. No one should ever go through this and have to deal with this, especially when they were trying to do something to enhance their beauty rather than destroy it. After this event, I have noticed her confidence reduce drastically, and it is difficult to get her to be her normal self; this really pains me because she went from being the most outgoing friend in the group to wanting to stay home because she is embarrassed, and she spends most of her money on doctor visits. I am writing this review to warn others to not make the MISTAKE of going to this med spa, because from what I have seen, they do not have the capability, the wherewithal, and the heart to care for the people who walk through their doors. They should be ashamed of themselves.

If you care about your skin and don’t want severe burn marks on your skin for the rest of your life, you should avoid this med spa at all costs!! I came on June 5, 2023, to get laser and little did I know I would be making the biggest mistake of my life. The nurse who did my laser, Jenny, put the setting of the laser machine on the highest setting. In addition to Jenny’s lack of training, she also dismissed me when I mentioned that my skin was hurting during the treatment by responding by saying it was normal. I have been routinely lasering my whole body for 15+ years and I have never heard of a nurse using the wrong setting; this should be the first lesson that they learn. Not only did she severely damage my arms, but she also lasered my eyebrow (!!) and it has not grown back normally ever since.Right when I got home after my laser appointment, I noticed burn marks all over my body. I messaged the nurse pictures and addressed my concern for my skin, and she simply mentioned that it is minor irritations and will go away shortly. Despite her suggestion to just wait, I immediately went to the emergency room, and thank goodness I did because they determined that I was a victim of a severe burn.What I could not believe was that nurse Jenny did not explore why my skin had burn marks, and she even proceeded to tell her boss that it was my fault that my skin burned. It was so unprofessional, and I was appalled being the victim and client of someone who has her license and duty of care as a nurse but instead has tried to be put the blame on a client who is not familiar with operating laser machine. Her boss, Monika called me apologizing for the nurse’s behavior since she knew it was her fault and simply offered me a refund, but unfortunately the damage was done. Here we are, 5 months later and my skin is still severely scarred.This entire situation with Jenny burning my arms, lower back, stomach/ bikini line, and lasering my eyebrow has caused so many extra obstacles for me. Without the freedom to laser for months, and the severe discoloration and scarring of my skin shown in the photos, I had to cover my arms because of all the discoloration/scarring and of the hair that is growing back since I cannot laser for years to come. I was also not free to do what I want, like go in the sun or enjoy the outdoors without covering every square inch of my body. After speaking to several attorneys and dermatological professionals, they emphasized the severity of the damages and suggested I partake in legal action. Additionally, when I went to my normal laser place seeking professional advice, they took pictures of my arms to inform future employees of what NOT to do and how severe damages can be when proper action is not taken. Additionally, I was informed about the aftercare required (including a cream that is meant for immediate usage after laser burns to minimize discoloration), indicating that there was an extreme lack of aftercare for my damages on Fancy Beauty’s part. Fancy Beauty should have immediately applied this to my damages, so that it did not exacerbate the discoloration. I do not want anyone in the future to have to deal with what I have been going through since this disaster. My priority is to get my arms and other areas back to what it was before I unfortunately trusted this med spa, by enduring years-worth of treatments on top of the pain and suffering I have had to go through thus far during this traumatic experience.

My best friend went here for laser on June 5, 2023 and had a worse experience than I could ever imagine. She had a nurse named Jenny, who severely burnt her and had no remorse. Not only is my friend scarred all over her arms, back, and stomach, but her left eyebrow was also lasered. The nurse told my friend that it was a simple mistake in lasering her eyebrow, but I find that very hard to believe, as her eyebrow is nowhere near the areas she lasered. Her eyebrow has not grown back or recovered even months later. As a result of the entire situation, my friend had to spend so much money out of her own pocket on going to the emergency room and going to various doctors including dermatologists. My friend has PTSD from this experience and is now terrified to laser anywhere ever again, which really affects her because she is so self-conscious about the hair on her body but can’t do anything to make herself feel better, due to the fear of getting severely burned again. Not only did the nurse neglect her duty of care, but the owner, Monika was so blasé about what had happened to my friend and did not offer support to her or have any sympathy. I am not even sure how this med spa is able to operate without a doctor on site in order to oversee situations like this. Highly recommend not going here unless you want a HORRIBLE experience!

I had an amazing experience visiting this place. I recently had a facial cleansing and moisturizing treatment as well as a vitamin infusion therapy. Vitamin Infusion Therapy has been a unique and beneficial addition to my beauty regimen. After the session, I felt a surge of energy and a general improvement in my well-being.The salon itself was clean and well maintained, creating a calming and relaxing atmosphere.
