Went in to have a bridesmaid dress hemmed. The woman tacking the bottom was having a lot of trouble and not doing anything to make sure it would be even. Pins kept falling out and I was starting to get worried that the length would be all over the place since the dress itself was uneven. Then went to get a quote… $185!!! I was totally shocked. The dress was one layer of fabric. The guy said it would be a lot of work and that it wasn’t a $50 job. Haggled down to $160 but I still couldn’t comprehend it being that expensive and never have I paid that much for any other alterations. Thankfully another guy was there to get a suit altered and was equally shocked by his quote. Power in numbers and I took my dress down the road to Sherman Oaks and she charged me $40 and did a great job. I can’t speak to what kind of work they do but their prices are crazy.

Love these guys. Found them about a year ago and they've been my only tailer since. Great work and typically done within a day or two (unless you're trying to get something done around Prom, haha). Parking lot can be a challenge but they have another lot behind the shopping center and street parking is a breeze.Services: Pants alterations

Great place for suits but NOT for wedding dress alterations.Hike was amazing with my now husband. The suit was high quality material, took his time to make the proper alterations and we spent $1,200. Totally worth it.My wedding dress on the other hand, complete nightmare. It was a women and I didn’t even get her name. I went in 4 times to try on and do alterations. The dress was still too long, loose in the chest area and straps were too tight. She went as far to tell me I should loose weight in order for the dress to look better. I felt so horrible I thought about buying a new wedding dress. I received my dress 2 weeks before my wedding day and felt like it was too late to do anymore alterations.Go here for suits and save yourself the headache and go somewhere else for wedding dress alterations.

Armen is my go-to guy when it comes to my suits and tux alterations. Being asian, there is no perfect fit. Armen always makes sure that my clothes have that "Custom Fit" look. He is very through with discussing all the adjustments and price. He is not cheap, but you're gonna love the results!Hugo Boss makes it, Armen perfects it!

Thrilled to have found Encino Bridal and thrilled with the final result of my wedding dress! I got my dress from Lulu's for my elopement since we had to postpone the actual wedding due to COVID, and ended up falling in love with it more than the one I had bought originally! Susanna was so helpful and walked me through the options for the alterations of my dress, and the final product fit me like a glove and was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend!
