Charles, the pharmacist was excellent tonight. He was so kind and attentive and eager to help me. Charles is an excellent human being and kind pharmacist. I was so impressed with the level of intelligence, caring, empathy, hard work. Thank you Cvs for having such a great staff. I believe Charles is at was covering for another pharmacist. He said he’s usually at the CVS in Burbank. Charles was so great, please bring him back to Encino CVS if possible. What a gem of a pharmacist. I am a physician at UCLA and I appreciate other healthcare workers who care about the patient

This pharmacy consistently has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Not only are they rude, condecending and mean, they have on occasion given me inaccurate dosing information. It is no wonder CVS was written up in a recent LA Times story as one of the chains that makes serious prescription errors each year. The employees at this Encino location clearly hate their jobs and have no regard for their customers. latimes.com/business/sto…

They have the worst customer service here! I came to exchange some makeup that I ordered online and the seal was broken! Straight up without even trying tohelp, the cashier said I may not get the money back because I only paid $1 and change for it -- mind you, it was because I have the care pass that I pay monthly for and I used that money I paid for to pay for this item. She made it seem like I'm getting it for free and started being combative with me. I asked her to relax! At the end she said she couldn't complete the transaction because I had to have the original payment card with me. I canceled the whole purchase. Just a waste of time coming here!

Went to CVS today, there's a worker I've never seen at this location and he was so friendly and his energy was just fantastic not only to me but the two customers in front of me. I believe his name was Jason. Just wanted to let the management know it was a great experience.

The new pharmacist Sonia is verbally abusive towards the patients and her staff. She was supposed to give me medication consultation on my new heart medications but when she came she went off on her pharmacy cashier followed by going off on me. Absolutely unprovoked. My teenage daughter was with me who got really intimidated so we just took it and didn't say anything. This cvs is behind our house. I know cvs overworks and underpays their staff but that is not good enough of reason for a pharmacist to behave abusively towards everyone. Sonia needs to leave or CVS should let her go.

Grew-up on Chicago's Southside. Just north of our apartment, at the corner of 75th Street and Kingston Avenue was the neighborhood drug store. It was a small shop, but you could fill a prescription while having a "Green River" at the fountain. The store also carried over-the-counter medications, cigarettes, hot water bottles, ice packs, makeup, stuff to slick your hair, and "Black Jack" chewing gum. That was several generations ago. ¹Today our neighborhood CVS PHARMACY takes most of a city block. It's really a department store with a selection of greeting cards, toys, candy, seasonal items, liquor, household goods, personal products, and over-the-counter medications. ²The sales floor is well maintained, with fully stocked shelves. Signs that identify sections, hanging from the ceiling, are difficult to follow. I asked for help, but was never led to the product. The staff, including the pharmacists, is friendly and helpful. COVID inoculations are available. The checkout line can be quite long. CVS long register receipts have been the butt of many jokes. While their length may be excessive, they do offer significant discounts. There is also a discount club which is free to join. Self checkout is available.Hand sanitizer solution is available at the entrance.Everything is wheelchair accessible. Parking is free. ADA spaces are located in front of the store.I do miss the soda fountain.¹ Green River, a Chicago favorite, is a lime-flavored, bright green soda fountain drink, served over crushed ice. Sometimes, if the soda jerk was friendly, it contained a scoop of vanilla ice cream. Black Jack, a greyish-black chewing gum, has an anise-flavor.² CVS are the initials of Consumer Value Stores. Founded 1963, in Lowell Massachusetts, there are about 10,000 locations in the United States, over 1,100 in California. Walgreens, their major competitor, has about 600 locations in California, and will have about 12,000 in the U.S. after the purchase of a portion of the Rite Aid chain is completed.

Pharmacist was very rude. On the simple question : can you tell me please why is my my medication is on process?I had two different answers1. Still waiting when your physician call us back (physician from emergency room?????)And a few moments later2. Your insurance is not covering medication.(simple medication)And hang up the phoneDo normal people do this?

Have to give 5 stars to Lexi in the beauty department. I went in looking to replace my daily on the go foundation and she approached me to ask if I needed help. Of course I accepted her help since I am no expert at this and knowing there are no testers at cvs . She was very knowledgeable and really understanding at what I was looking for. I was impressed that when I got home after making my purchase of the items she helped me with, the color of my foundation was perfect for me and i loved the sheer sunscreen too! If I did this on my own I know I would've picked the wrong shade of foundation and never gotten the sunscreen which is super important. So glad she was there to get exactly what I needed and also had a pleasant visit .

The pharmacists at this CVS are so smart, kind, efficient, and wonderful. I am a ucla physician and I am impressed with this particular pharmacy because the crew of pharmacists and pharmacy techs and all the assistants are hard working, compassionate, competent, efficient, and kind. In addition, the store manager at this CVS is extremely professional and hard working. All of his assistants who are hired by him are extremely pleasant and hard working like him too. There is a tall gentleman who organizes and stocks the whole store including the over the counter items. He is extremely efficient and helpful. The whole atmosphere of this CVS supersedes and outshines all of the other pharmacies. The main store manager has set the tone to that of an excellence.
