  I recently had my bathrooms remodeled by Concept Renovation, and I am extremely happy with their services. They were professional, respectful, and kept the work area clean and organized.I really appreciate Jacob for being very transparent about all the costs involved, which eliminated any surprises or hidden fees!Throughout the project, I had the opportunity to work with Rudy, the project manager. Rudy's attention to detail and effective communication skills were impressive! He kept me informed at every stage of the remodel and was always available to address my questions or concerns. It made me feel very confident about the project!I am thoroughly satisfied with the final results of my bathroom remodel. The work they did in my bathroom was outstanding. Every aspect, from the tiling to the fixtures, was done with precision. Concept Renovation is a reliable company that I highly recommend to anyone in need of remodeling services!

  First of all, I don't usually write reviews but I felt compelled to do one in this instance. My husband and I recently purchased a 4bd, 3ba home in Studio City and wanted to remodel before moving in. We have had extensive experience with gut renovations and my husband also works in corporate real estate so he is very familiar with construction processes and costs. I provide this context because we have worked with all types of contractors from good to bad to evil and have had a range of experiences in the past. I can unequivocally say that Jacob and the Concept Renovations (CR) team is the best residential contractor out there. If you are familiar with contractors, a lot of them overpromise and underdeliver, hitting you with change orders and hidden costs at every turn, often going over budget and well over time. You will not find this with Jacob and his team. They are honest, reliable and and we felt they had our best interest at heart. This is priceless, especially in our situation where we gave him an almost impossible timeline to meet, ahead of the arrival of our new baby. He managed to meet the timeline and budget- often having workers work late into the evening hours and almost every weekend through the construction period! To summarize, our project involved replacing all the flooring, baseboards and window casing throughout our 3000+ sq ft home. We also wanted the whole house repainted and had a number of cabinets demolished and the walls opened up. We also had a doorway terminated and relocated some French doors. There were a number of things we threw at the CR team during the construction such as installing a custom, feature wall in the master bedroom and relocating j-boxes and switches. Jacob and his project manager Val kindly threw in a lot of these last minute changes for us at none or nominal cost. Val is amazing to work with and we consulted her on a number of design questions which she was happy to advise on pro bono! She is super responsive and frequently at the project site making sure things are on track. She even had the guys haul away a lot of junk the previous owners had left in our garage! Overall the work done by CR is of the highest quality and we were thrilled with the end result. Every worker and tradesman that entered the home was friendly, respectful and HAPPY (which says a lot)! My husband is a stickler for details and every paint imperfection, nick and scratch that was identified in the final walkthrough was taken care of. We feel like we live in a brand new house and I could not have imagined a better contractor to work with during this stressful period in our lives. Thank you for the hard work and beautiful end result, Concept Renovations! We would highly recommend you to our family and friends in future.

  I hired Concept Renovations to redo my bungalow in South Pasadena. The results were outstanding--and the process was smooth, and even enjoyable.The project started out as a total kitchen/bathroom renovation and extended to the entire home. In the end, my 1925 bungalow now boasts all the modern conveniences and looks stunning.Evelyn was the Project Manager and she is truly remarkable. Definitely ask for her to run your project . She has an impeccable design and color sense; by making the right design decisions, she transformed a simple living space into an ultra-premium showpiece. As she grew up working with her father who is a contractor, Evelyn is also very knowledgeable about the technical specifics of electrical, plumbing, permits, etc. so she was able to simplify and explain the process to me along the way. She is thorough, detail-oriented, easy to work with and, in my case where I live 1.5 hours away, I was able to trust her to run the project with very little day-to-day oversight from me. Finally, she loves what she does; she was truly passionate about making my little home the very best it could be--her attention to every little aesthetic detail, and her drive to not stop until we found the perfect solutions, made all the difference.In addition, Evelyn has her finger on the pulse of the real estate market; therefore, the decisions she helped me arrive at, ended up being perfect for my objectives (a high-end rental). The leasing agents I met with told me they could get top rental prices based on the quality of the work done.When I hired Concept Renovations, I was not aware that they did work for TV renovation programs. I could see by their website that they worked on ultra high-end properties, so I wasn't sure if they would want to take on my little fixer project. But they ended up working wonders, giving my project the TLC that made all the difference.When the process works right, a home renovation can actually be a very positive, creative and collaborative experience. That's what this project was - thanks to Evelyn and team. I will be working with them on future projects.

Dolev is very knowledgeable, experienced, responsive and reasonable. With any project, changes or complications will arise to test the contractor and homeowner. We had several situations where the information or drawings from the architect required more clarity or direction. There was another situation where Dolev redid the work because he (and I) felt it could be improved. Dolev addressed each of these issues in a fair way, with no or limited additional costs and an improved end-result. His crew was hard-working, pleasant and the quality of the work was solid. I regularly have neighbors comment on the transformation with our remodel and the quality of the job. The final cost stayed within the original estimate. This is a contractor who completes a job on time, on budget with solid quality!Service: Remodeling

  We've worked with Jacob on 2 of our homes in the last 4 years and we highly recommend as they have been incredibly professional, responsive, and deliver on your vision.Our first project was on our 1920s bungalow which included a 100 sq ft addition to a kitchen reconfiguration and powder room addition. It was super important that we blend the old with the new and Jacob and his team listened to our needs and delivered. We increased the scope mid project to update the exterior with hardscaping, landscaping and paint. The home was truly a dream but our expanding family led us on our next adventure.Our second home is a 1950s original build that required every inch to be touched. We reconfigured spaces to open up the floor plan and completely rebuilt the kitchens and bathrooms. Val was our main PoC for the day to day and I can't imagine it any other way. She was attentive, professional, and always one (or many more) steps ahead. How she remembered every detail always amazed me.In both projects we were on very tight timelines to finish the projects and Jacob and Val did everything possible to keep the projects moving and manage through the natural and expected complexities of home renovation. They were in touch constantly to give updates on progress or address our questions. Every specialist that we encountered from electrical, framing, plumbing, flooring etc was and is exceptional.In both projects we brought our own ideas, visions and materials and Jacob and his team delivered A+.My husband told me I'm not allowed to remodel any more houses but if I do I'll be calling Jacob and Val.

  We are extremely happy with Dolev and the Concept Renovation team. We ended up renovating our entire home including the outdoor landscape, pool, turf, literally everything. This is including relocating pool, electric gas lines and raising the ceiling and many more. One of the most important aspect while choosing contractor was to make sure quality meets our expectation and things executing as promised. For us it definitely did. Of course there were times where we had to make alternative decisions due to pre- existing structure, but Dolev and the team was extremely helpful on showing us different options to get it closer to our initial ideas. We will definitely work together again and love waking up at our brand new place every morning

  Concept Reno was a dream and they probably still are. I needed to Reno a kitchen, powder room, a guest bedroom and a serious paint job throughout the house. It took 2.5 months from start to finish along w new floors, correcting electrical (because the 60s house I moved into had some massive mismatch and combobulated throughout). The team is a dream. Super responsive, patient and very attentive. They work together very nicely and it made the job run smoothly. All subs are suuuuuuper nice. The demo crew was phenomenal. I just don't understand how they did it. I think they put on a samson wig and they demo'd and cleared it all in no time. The PAINTERS!!!!! The best funny guys ever. So nice. The electrician! Sooooo nice. The plumbers! Soooo nice. The kitchen company sooooooo soooo nice! And Dolev and Kevin- so nice! Always answering my essays of questions and timing. We love our home and Concept Reno delivered! The day we finished was a weird day because it meant I wouldn't be bugging them daily. We HIGHLY recommend Concept Reno. Highly Highly! I'm happy to chat with anyone who want to go through a reno. We were in great hands throughout the process.

  Overall we had a positive experience with Concept Renovations. They do exceptional quality work, are highly responsive, and keep to their timeline and price. This was our first time doing a renovation and overall everything turned out great. Dolev & Kevin were our PMs. Victor was our foreman. They worked consistently every week and stuck to the timeline. They also stuck to the costs laid out in the scope. There were some communication goofs, but they addressed problems fast and were responsive when we had questions or pointed out missed items. The crew executing the work did high-quality work and were all very kind. I would definitely recommend them and use them again.Services: Kitchen remodeling

  I simply cannot recommend or compliment the Concept team enough- if you're debating between contractors pick them. You hear all of these nightmare stories about contractors and unless you have a solid word of mouth reference from a person- it is so hard to find a good one. It's hard to trust online reviews when you're about to put so much money into something that has to be done right. We were pretty nervous as we interviewed about 5 different ones. . With Concept they are a one stop shop- complete w design, they help get the permits for you etc. We were doing a total gut renovation on a 1920s Spanish bungalow in Glendale . Their bid was competitive w the rest. We couldn't be happier w the end results and Concept Renovations customer service was excellent and personable- they literally create a text chain for you. When I say excellent I mean WOW. They really really went out of their way for us. People would ask us "oh my god a renovation what a stressful nightmare". My husband and I would respond and just say we have a great team of guys.. it's not a nightmare at all lol. Yes there were hiccups like city of Glendale said we had to upgrade all new electrical panel so that cost extra money. You have to expect some hiccups w a project of this scale - also cabinet maker went past deadline which was out of their control. But literally they stuck very close to budget as best they could - it was a dream having a team of guys like this that you can text- and they don't just work for money they work from their hearts.. Dolev is a one of kind good natured person- God sent us an angel especially given the fact that I was pregnant during the renovation! Dean and Kevin were great too. I give them an A++!! At the end we felt like we were friends w the team. We will be doing more work w them in the future. And oh btw- their workers are straight up artisans (which was something key for me that I was looking for).. Like the sheer details and quality of the work is exactly what I needed to make my Pinterest dreams come true! And trust me I'm pretty picky / particular with the aesthetic that I want. So so happy! Posting a pic of my kitchen but please note the range is back ordered and arrives later that's why there is a gap there...

  Dolev and his team went well and beyond our expectations and we now have a beautifully designed bathroom. I had interviewed many contractors off of Sweeten, but there was something about Dolev, that I immediately liked and trusted and I'm glad I trusted my instinct. Before they demoed, they brought in an interior designer, Alma to go over the floor plan and design ideas. She measured the bathroom and we picked out products together. This way, I knew exactly what I was getting. Dolev included this in his estimate, no additional costs. There were a few hiccups along the way, but Dolev and Dean were quick to resolve any issues. They spent a lot of time with me and made sure everything was perfect. I would definitely use Concept Renovations in a heartbeat. They were so responsive, nice and efficient. They even sent me a gift basket when they were finished.Services: Drywall installation

  I love Dolev. He is so talented, responsive and did a magnificent job on our master bathroom. He far exceeded my expectations and was trust worthy, nice, reasonably priced, responsive and had a great team. I never wondered or worried about anything and that is a big relief.   I can't say enough good things about Jacob and the entire team at Concept Renovations. Jacob and his project managers are extremely communicative throughout the entire process, and super professional. Not to mention that all of his subs do really great work! I would highly recommend Jacob and his team for any home renovation project large or small.
