It goes without saying how very important it is to have the computers running without problems in business. Over the years Micro Computer has fixed anything and everything that went wrong. They have repaired a bad hard drive where they had to recover data, power supplies, bad cards & fans, repaired bugs & viruses where they cleaned the hard drive (repeatedly), and most recently a laptop with a defective card that had a bad card & wouldn’t communicate with the wifi. Whether it was a hardware issue or a software issue, they fixed it. The technical service is great. The prices are always fair. Most important (at least to me), you’re dealing with a local small business, with integrity & people that are going to be there next week and next year. “Back in December I was having some issues with my SSD and I thought that I lost all of my data. I was panicking and I didn't know what to do so I looked up some places and found this shop. I read the reviews and thought I'd give them a try. Sevada was a true professional! He listened to my concerns and he kept me updated regarding the status of my data recovery. He was really nice and patient. After finishing the data recovery, I stopped by the shop and checked out the hard drive. He was able to recover everything and then some! This shop is a lifesaver and if I ever get into a similar situation again, I'll definitely be back! He was also able to answer other questions I had regarding computer repairs. “I needed a battery for my 4 yr old Lenovo Yoga, and found online that California Computer is Lenovo certified. I originally spoke with Kevin, then with Lupé, who ordered the battery and texted when it came in. I paid in advance for the battery and installation which also included a much needed cleaning. I dropped my beloved laptop off at 12:30 p.m. and picked it up at 3:00 p.m. I did schedule this in advance, although not required I think it's only fair to any company so they can schedule and meet my timeframe. Here we are at 9:40 p.m. and my battery is still running strong and I feel as if my laptop is brand new. I would highly recommend California Computer and won't look any further if I need additional Lenovo repairs. Keep in mind that they also have a wide inventory of everything computer related. The parking was super spacious and if you want to buy something else, there are other stores in the same place, be it fast food, a Ralphs, a Riteaid, a bank, pet store or spare parts for your car. “They saved my data! I had a SSD drive failure (likely from my laptop system over heating...using the wrong charger...too much wattage). I panicked when the Blue Screen of Death appeared! My entire life and existence is on my system. It was backed up but two months ago on an external drive. I learned my lesson to use the cloud too. Anyway, Arisha (sp?) recovered all my files without a hitch!!! You don't realize how much you to take for granted and rely on your computer (and phone) until you don't have it any longer. TAKE YOUR COMPUTER HERE FOR DATA RECOVERY! I called a few other places locally, and they wanted several hundred dollars, and telling me SSD drives are hard to recover --maybe so, but ACS Computer fix it at a very fair price! My SSD drive issue was likely a physical issue not data (ie, virus/malware). My Samsung Pro Book 360 is only 25 months old. I bought a new system anyway. Kept the old one with a new SSD drive as a backup. I urge you to talk to ACS Computer in Tarzana on Ventura Blvd! I like giving my business to neighborhood businesses! PS: If you get the blue screen: shut your system down immediately as I did before you lose everything. And don't ship it out for repair. You don't know who you are dealing with!”
